Chelsea seem to be turning a corner whilst we are regressing under ETH. I fancy you’ll finish above us come May too.
Wish we had your manager. Poch is terrific and seemed destined to take the job at Old Trafford, but we messed it up.
Chelsea
Always knew it was just a matter of time Poch got it right
You’ll have ups and downs but the football will be exciting just like with us now
Well, i don't know about that, we've been so erratic so far. Imo were not out of the woods yet.
Cfc are showing signs of a decent team emerging, but its nothing more than that.
Its a positive at the moment.
As for Utd, well the table doesnt lie 6th place, like the squad or not it is full of very competent footballers.
Cup half full or half empty?
Maybe its about adjusting to a new reality, the SAF days are gone, much the same as the Abramovich days are past at CFc.
Im not a fan of the Glazers nor i am impressed with Boehly- Clearlake consortium at Cfc, ( but i do hope that will change)
There is along way to go , ups and downs.
He- who,
yeah its early days, weve got to start doing it over the full 90 minutes and continue to convert more of our chances in front of the goal
Watched Chelsea a fair bit the last few games, just wanted to say what a player you have in Palmer.
I can only guess City had to let him go for FFP reasons because he’s diamond.
Palmer is a special player, its like the game slows around him and he can dictate how he wants to play. Unbelievable talent
Exciting times, the squad does have numerous gems, i reckon if we can get a decent return on our next three , Newcastle, Brighton & Utd we have small window where we can push to 30 + points by the midway stage.
Something i think would bode well for the second half, as i believe we will get stronger.
After two years of absolute mediocrity ,I must say well played to all the team so far this season, even the games we lost we were looking a lot better, but especially over these past two games. Now lads lets get some consistancy and with Potch we go onwards and upwards.
I'm always optimistic and have been supportive of the owners approach, in the main, from the start.
I did think they appointed Potter too soon and that the first window was erratic in terms of signings, there were gems and some possible mistakes but I felt there were reasons for that. I believe in their approach and it's brave because whilst many clubs have sought to build their future around the next best thing, in the UK I don't think any team has attempted it to the scale that we are now.
I've expected results to improve and we are showing signs of growing as a team. I do expect a few more West Ham and Brentford results yet, but also more performances like the last two. We've played some great football and got little or nothing for it, though West Ham and Brentford we got what we deserved. It's a young team, they are learning and that will continue. 2 weeks off will help with returning players, I just hope it doesn't interfere with momentum. I'll be back for Newcastle and I hope the team doesn't suffer too much through the internationals, I may be optimistic but I like to think I'm realistic too, that means I'm rarely confident but for me it is always win or lose up the blues.
Yes I agree JFDI, the process is still in the early stages but coming on nicely. Hopefully we can stay clear of too many injuries during the International break ,and our crocks return in good shape.
Win or lose up the blues ,win or lose up the blues !
I like that .
Jf, i think we can see that the squad is going in the right direction, i actually really like it.
I hope that we get through season with a decent finish as in we are playing well, organized & looking confident.
We should get stronger as it progresses.
Will we buy in the next window? more than likely, very dependent on our exposure to an FFP breach imo.
This week has been a good week for the supporters, the club, owners, manager and the players, it is heartening.
Congratulations for going into the International break 10 points behind Spurs, after spending a billion in 12 months.
Making great progress.

and will no doubt still win a trophy before spurs
A Red comes in peace. Palmer, what a player, £40M+ purchase, you robbed them!
Best game I’ve ever seen Sterling play, no matter what the colour of his shirt. He was MOTM for me.
Even at our worst Sandy,Spurs are still our beetches !
Oh come on Sandy, didnt we spend billions?
Jimmy, Yeah , what I rate about him , is his. determination, leaving City at his age takes Balls.
He's a good kid
I think we may well buy in the next window, the long awaited striker. If not then they have one lined up for the summer, maybe a keeper too. They may hold off on that striker though given we are a little less goal shy currently. You know the owners, difficult to predict.
Dear Sandy, I personally promise not to spend any money on players over the next two windows. Can't stop those in charge though.
