A final word on Sterling...played like a man possessed, which isn't usually the case against his former sides.
Walker couldn't keep up, turned him inside out throughout.

Yep ... if only he could be @rsed putting in that level of effort every week, eh?

Cracking game for the neutral, to be fair. I'd have said a point apiece was about right though. Stats would certainly suggest that.

Mf, how do put us into context when considering our game play against Brentford the week before,Spurs last Monday and our performance yesterday against City.?

Spurs and City are more attacking and leave gaps that Chelsea can exploit. Brentford sitting deep in numbers is a conundrum that Chelsea struggle to solve. West Ham away this season same. This is why Postecoglou imho made a grave error with high line defending last week when he should've sat his team deep and frustrated CFC

Taking nothing away from Chelsea, but City were below par and looked a little jaded.

Spurs, Arsenal and now City all "not at their best" v Chelsea. Pep knows. Watch his post match interview.

Gvardiol’s a cracking player, but he’s never a LB.

Spurs were at our very best against Chelsea. No excuses there. We just shot ourselves in the foot when we had the upper hand.
Don't know about Arsenal. However, Chelsea did the job against these sides, that's all they can do. Not Chelsea's fault if other sides are not on form or can't handle the heat and have players getting sent off.

Just to remind everyone. Chelsea have won just four of twelve matches all season, including just one at home over Luton. 16 points out of 36 despite spending a billion.

That's a shocking return. The way Chelsea supporters have waffled on this week, you would think they were well clear at the top of the table, instead of sitting in 10th.

I know where we are but apart from Brentford, our performances have actually been quite decent this season. Should have beaten Liverpool, West Ham, Arsenal, Forest and Bournemouth. We generally dominate games, make a lot of chances, we are very high up xG and big chance creation in the league, we've just been pants in from of goal.

We obviously need a better striker, and I do think we would have earned more points if we had kept Kepa - it's a stupid mistake by the club. The new board have been very rash and naive in many of their decisions. We have also been unlucky with injuries. The new players look to be full of potential in general and I maintain my faith in Poch.

Let's hope we can turn these draws into wins and climb the table but the Premier League has become extremely competitive in the last couple of seasons and it will be difficult.

Poch always needed some time to sort the mess out. Plus they had some injuries. Looks like it’s finally coming together for them.

Poch still definitely getting sacked at Christmas Sandy? 😉

Palmer looks a very good player. City can probably afford to offload good players like him but still a clever signing from Poch

Think a point was fair, one of those games where both teams deserved to win. The fact City weren't at their best, seems tired & might've underestimated us in the 1st half, and still played that well is scary.

It's gunna take a bit of time, maybe a few seasons still, but I believe Pochettino's the guy to break us out of this comatose football that's chipped away at my passion for the sport in general for a few years now

Is it really coming together? Spurs with all their players on the pitch would have beaten them, and they could have quite easily lost to City. They may have had zero points from their last two games.

I still think Pochettino will be gone by Xmas. Luck only lasts so long.

You dont have to be Harry Rednapp to acknowledge that the Cfc squad does have huge potential and is improving

Why did you get players sent off Sandy? Because you were being attacked and exposed and couldn’t handle the pressure

Bottled it again
