You could see this happening... other Than Bents there really wasn't anyone in the squad that was gonna break into the first 11 during our excellent start. We now have injuries and suspensions and there are players starting that wouldn't get a game for bottom half teams, let alone a team with top 4 aspirations. He did the same thing to Poch when he was in his pomp.... Amazing first 11 but that's no longer enough to be a top club

Tbf Sandy is right I’d edge spurs the better side they never gave in 2-2 draw would of been just result , we get done like that now & again

I get all that. But you are saying he should have more or less revamped the whole squad in one window. Was never going to happen.
Be thankful that in one window Vicario, Mickey and Maddison came in, and also the emergence of Bissouma and Sarr under Ange. There will be plenty more of that to come.

The main miss is Micky Van. Romero not so much, because he will get another red card three or four games in on his return, so cannot rely on him.

We cannot rely on only having 2 out and out CB’s at the club that the manager trusts - Huge injury crisis and he still doesn’t trust Dier - and he is faaaacking right not to.
I put absolutely zero of this on Ange by the way, let me be clear with that. I love the way we play, I love that he always goes for it, I love that he tried something different to Dier yesterday - but the man needs a squad, a proper squad, not 14 decent players and bargain bin rejects there after.
Villa have their best defender missing currently - Mings, but have Lenglet, Konsa, Torres - where’s our depth?

OP, talk about an overreaction. Yes the squad will be added to over the next couple of windows. But no club in the country can legislate for losing 10-12 players injured or suspended over two or three weeks. Not even City.
I was well happy with what I saw yesterday, other than the finishing.

While you are right to say "no club in the country can legislate for losing 10-12 players" It is also fair to have expectations of Levy & Co improving this sqaud. There are players starting that the club were having to get rid of in the summer, they dont appear to be in in Ange's long term plans & we will be losing players in Jan to AFCON and the Asia Cup... Biss, Sarr & Sonny. Can we also stop with this idea that everything will be rosy come Jan when Madders & DVD are back. Injuries and suspensions WILL HAPPEN throughout the season !!! Look at Poor Bentacur.... No sooner than he's back after a year out, Cash cleans him out and now he's looking at more time on the sidelines. The overall quality of the squad must be improved.... End of ! Spurs will lose more games than they win (as good as they are to watch) with Davies, Dier, PEH, Skipp, Gill, Royal & GLC in the team..... Its been proved time & time again

Yes you are right, there will be more injuries. But I doubt there will be the amount there is right now. Son on current form will not be missed. And it will be time for Richarlison to step up. I get all that. But you are saying he should have more or less revamped the whole squad in one window. Was never going to happen.
Be thankful that in one window Vicario, Mickey and Maddison came in, and also the emergence of Bissouma and Sarr under Ange. There will be plenty more of that to come.
