Hi Nick, i didnt get to see the match, but we don't seem to be building on the progression.

The squad is lacking a back bone, 3/4 players who are setting the standard?

Very frustrating, imo we now stuck in a mid table churn for the rest of the season.

Erm , both Cfc and Newcastle were taken over in the roughly the same period, the gulf in difference on and off the pitch is huge.

Newcastle are gearing up with confidence to become a C/L team, we struggling to find an identity unfortunately.

Have been games this season that we have lost but the actual performance was ok but this was just shambolic top to bottom and Newcastle full deserved what was an easy win.

Don't think it was the worse performance since Boehly and Co took over (last season plenty of worse performances) but definitely the worst performance under Pochettino for sure.

First time this season though that i've really been dissapointed in the actual performance so hopefully a blip and no more, lets see if we get a response.

The reason im saying about the performance being the worst is this is the least injuries (7) that we've had since boehly took over, the team have been playing well and should have beaten city and even the games we lost (brentford and villa) we were far the better team.

This was an asbolute sh!tshow from the off, nobody got out of 2nd gear.

Fairly welcoming fixtures?

Two of those sides have been well ahead of you for some time now.

And a couple of the others' style of play are what Chelsea typically struggle against.

easier than spurs, city, arsenal and newcastle. 4 of our last 5 games.

So yes a lot more welcoming, utd have been awful this year and somehow picking up results, everton and sheff utd are rubbish

Brighton stylistically are another good fit for you. Hard to call re United since they don't really have a style of play at the minute.

the big question is how are you gonna fair against this run of more defensive sides. you'd think that Luton and Sheff Utd are so awful that even you should be able to break them down, but Everton, Palace and Wolves are gonna be big tests for you

Oh, expecting utd to beat us, but still not as tough as a city or arsenal for example

It's hard when you have crap players.

We don't though, we've got some fine players although obviously injuries have played a huge part.
