Trying to work out the thinking behind it. Like when I used to wonder why people would post articles/pictures etc. that were clearly incorrect, misleading or just really bad. It is because bad and controversial gets way more coverage than anything actually truthful, logical or sensible.

Oh the Cybertruck is clickbait at it's finest, If Tesla had come out with what would be considered a normal design, it would not have gained anywhere near the same interest.
There are a lot of good things about the Cybertruck though, and I am sure it will go down as a design classic.

There are no official numbers. But there are sites tracking pre- orders, and they have the number well over 1 million.
