harvey why do timms always bring religion into it, you seem to be implying that plg had to go for religious reasons, complete and utter tripe of course, there were more obvious reasons you could have picked

There are obvious reasons why WGS left too yet you and others constantly tell us he left because he wasn't 'Celticminded enough'. I think it's fair comment to say that PLG's religious background was mentioned far more when he arrived than when he lost the dressing room, or more to the point, the Scottish players in the dressing room from a Rangers supporting background. Murray himself criticised the attitude of some of these players at the time.

As I've already said earlier in the thread, I don't buy that as an excuse for results like St.Johnstone, Hearts or Sion this season. On the other hand, I believe the team Walter Smith built at Rangers in recent years were all 100% his choices as signings which is one of the reasons he had so much success.

So when wee Neil wins it's because he signed 10 million pound players and when he loses it's the board who signed them.Out of interest howdo you think the signings were split between Neil and the board

I refer you to my previous post when I mentioned that no one knows for sure outside the board and Neil Lennon himself. I think it's fair to say the likes of Ki was signed by the board and the likes of Commons was signed by Lennon. Izzy, Dan, Mathews, Kayal, Bangura, Stokes and others, I have no idea.

Opening comment is a load of rubbish. Celtic bought almost a new team last season and if had not been for threats of bombs, bullets and physical attacks Celtic would certainly have won the league. Now good players don't become bad players overnight but when half of them are out injured then it is possible to have problems.
