Yes. Seem like his time may well be up. That can be for if he's injured or out of favour.
I'd like to see more of Mainoo but I also understand not wanting to overplay him. A game a week is probably sensible at this stage.
Amrabat needs to show more and we need a much more compact midfield tonight

The Varane thing is just plain odd I have to say. He's our best defender by a mile, and has seemingly been fit for a while. Just play him and Maguire as a pair! Maguire and Lindelof as a pair isn't any better in terms of what ETH wants; there's still no left footer and Varane is a better defender than Lindelof is a ball-player.

Lindelof is better on the ball but you’d think a fit Varane offers far more as the RCB.

He can't play Mainoo two games a week at this stage.
Rashford dropped as we all wanted. Amrabat picked as we all wanted. Antony back as we all wanted. Hojlund playing as we all wanted. McT playing as his Mum wanted.
On paper this looks ok. The trouble is I’ve actually witnessed these players a lot this season and that makes this a lot more terrifying.
Think Chelsea will tear us to shreds today, i really do

Just play him for now and then rest him when Eriksen and Casemiro are back. He can handle 2 games a week for a few weeks. Also, you see Madrid, Bayern, PSG, and Barcelona play kids his age 2 times a week, with no fuss.
Bellingham was playing for Dortmund week in week out, and for England at Mainoo's age.
