I know it's a wum list but I do think a lot of players pre 2015 should count themselves lucky they never played in the social media era.

Any mistake you make today goes viral within 5 minutes and you get a fail comp.

Not sure why people think it's a WUM list.

All those players, bar one, played key roles in teams that won multiple titles.

I had to add McGrath in there as he won Player of the Year and I think he was a class act.

Winning multiple titles and playing a key role does not mean they are better. Anderson played a key role in us winning titles, so did John O'shea, none of these players sitting on the same table as Stevie G.

Let's have some integrity here, this is laughable.

Paul McGrath is probably the best CB to have played in the PL. He was absolutely class. And he would have probably been even better had he actually been able to train.

As for VVD, he was fantastic at his peak. But was his peak long enough to be considered alongside the truly great CBs we have seen in the PL? Not for me.

I'd have Stam, Terry, Campbell, Rio, Calvalho, Kompany and Terry above him.

Special mentioned to Ronny Johnsen. He was an amazing player, just injured far too much. Same with Ledley and Woodgate.

Oh, I missed Vidic out too!

Not sure I get the constant argument that VVD's peak hasn't been long enough.

He's had 3.5 world class seasons at Liverpool, which will be 4.5 if he carries on playing the way he has done this season, and he also had 2 very good years at Southampton.

There's a reason City, Liverpool and Chelsea were all willing to spend £50m+ on him.

I do find it quite funny that despite existing for well over a century, nearly half of all United’s titles came under Fergie. The man was one of the greatest managers of all time but sounds like me very much like that kind of dominance was down to one man, not United as a club.

And United didn’t try to win yesterday, ludicrous to suggest otherwise. If you were trying to win you are an even worse football team than I realised.
