There definitely are. Aurier, Acuna, Mendy, Shaw, Timber, Alex Sandro, Walker, Dumfries. Back in the day, Valencia, Moses, Kolasinac. In any case all over the pitch I could name footballers similar build to Reece who aren’t as injury prone - I’m additionally intrigued why you think full backs would be a special case.

A lot of these guys were failed CBs, injury prone and/or shiiit. Full/wing backs these days have the same build as wingers/inside forwards these days.
Failed CBs, not aware of any, injury prone, fair enough Mendy and maybe Shaw are, shiiit, well all of them have had time where they were rated highly. You could also make a similar list of players similar body shape who are inside forwards / wingers, or any other position.
Essentially I just don’t think James’ body shape is that unusual to be the cause of his injury problems, nor is the position he plays raising the risk either. The original comment was acting like he was Adama Traore, or Akinfenwa, players who actually don’t have anyone else at all really playing with their body shape.
Tbf I was putting the likes of Timber, Shaw and Walker under the failed CB list (along with Kola) but a more accurate description would be having the physique and build to play CB naturally
Shaw doesn’t have the physique to play cb. He’s just fat.
