So … I guess all good things come to an end … may I sincerely thank each of you for your contribution on this thread this evening and special thanks to Admin for your assistance👍. I hope you’ve enjoyed a little ‘non-footballing’ moment as much as I have. Take care all, go well and I know we’ll meet again … some sunny day🌞.

Yeah good thread- nice one light brigade. I may have a few shandys tomo so if you doing a repeat one..
Haven't posted anything in absolutely ages but can't let an opportunity like this go amiss so drink-wise I'm on my 3rd glass of Jack Daniel.
As for music, it's anything by Graham Parker and The Rumour, one of the best live English bands of the 70s IMHO
Catching up with this thread should go well with my milk tea this morning.

Am I supposed to get wound up by this? Is it supposed to be funny? In that case then hahaha.
Milk tea makes people attentive and cheerful without ingesting thousands of harmful chemicals, so as a polished and accomplished gentleperson, I just can't be wound up.
I must admit when I saw the thread title I thought that was a term used when explaining the act of 2 ladies enjoying each other intimately... but now I know it's to do with drink I don't mind sharing that Jim Beam, an Argentinian Malbec and a few Black Russians have made a Christmas appearance at my 87 year old parents whom I'm staying over at during this season of goodwill to all.... Cheers and good health to everyone.

I’ve become a bit of a home beer fan after my gradual retreat from pub life.
Great fan of the Perfect Draft machine, and saved some Octoberfest Spaten for Xmas, also do some home brew with the Pinter and keep some Rioja for meals…
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nice! What abv do you achieve with the home brew?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As a 16 year old I took to making my own wine, bought demijohns, books, rubber corks, airlock, sanitizer, wine making yeast, funnels, filter tubes, buckets and wine making kits. Bottles and corks.
Followed the instructions to the letter.
Completely undrinkable.
Expresso martini from Brierley Hill Asda.
£8 a bottle

Thanks again to all for the latter comments👍.
