Expect a hard game at the Bulls.
Thanks View.
Fatigue will play its part and Warne has to consider how to make best use of his star players with another very tough game on Monday. He sets great store in Hourihane but it is hard to see him playing three full games in six days, and the wide players may also struggle to last the pace. Does he try to win the game in the first hour and then see it out with subs or keep some aces up his sleeve? I reckon we will start with the same team as Wigan and see how it goes.
On getting banned, it’s not worth getting upset about. Does it matter if you can’t post a comment on a Forest thread? I once wrote what I thought was a very amusing poem in the aftermath of Kneegate but someone complained that it was offensive to Billy Davies and it was pulled. It’s just how it goes.
Trying to remember how it went:
“This is the tale of Billy’s thigh
And how young Nigel happened by.....”

Agreed. I mentioned on the previous thread I was surprised PW didn't substitute players earlier considering the quick succession of games.
I'd personally like to see the team freshened up so that the team against Wigan is ready for the Posh clash. Of course the double edged sword for PW is changing the side and losing to Oxford and that creating more pressure for the Posh match.
Admin is a Forest fan? Really? That explains the slackness one week to activate the live thread.
Maarnin' all.
Feels like it should really be a 3pm ko. Hope I can stay awake until 7.45
Any of the JA faithful making the trip to Oxford ?
I'm surprised View can find an article to post on, on the dogs board

Sadly work has got in the way again but I will be able to watching it on the box. I'm also working for the Fleetwood game so that will be three away game son the bounce I have missed.

Tommo is our sole attendee tonight as far as I'm aware.
Fleetwood is my next soiree. Will have to do the drinking after the game I suppose, (I hate early KO's).
The Daily Telegraph has a "most memorable quotes" by sporting commentators. You will be pleased to note that at no 2 is "Look at his face...........Just look........." π
No guessing what No.1 is....
Actually not what you are probably thinking. But a classic and certainly my favourite!
I have not looked Heb but I'm thinking Barry Davis on Franny Lee's goal agin Man City at Maine Road?

That was No 2.
No 1 was Sid Waddell's classic "When Alexander of Macedon was 33, he cried salt tears because there were no more worlds to conquer. Eric Bristow is only 27"
Pure poetry! π
I was thinking purely footy.
Bet old 'Arry Carpenter had a couple in there ?
"Oh my God! He's won the title back at 32!"
Though I would have voted for: "And there goes Juantorena down the back straight, opening his legs and showing his class!"
"Incredible! Forest all over the show! Forest absolutely chaos! And Derby are 2 ahead! And as I speak Emery is through! And he's scored! Emery clean through! Forest are in absolute ruin! And Derby County are 3 up! And manager Brian Clough, I've never seen such an expression of disgust on his face!"

πbrilliant. Was that for Admin1?
All great stuff!
What about Jonathan Agnew's "he couldn't get his leg over" as some batsman or other (Botham?) collided with the stumps when dashing in for a run? Brian Johnson was in stitches for ages after that!
