Celtic should’ve only had 9 men on at the end. Refs helping Celtic again
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Wonderful stuff

When was the last time anyone saw a team go down to 9 in a blood and guts derby?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Ah didn’t know the laws don’t apply to Celtic in a a derby
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It’s not a law. It just simply never really happens.

Notwithstanding I’m loving the notion that today’s game would have been an exception going by your thought process.

It was never the dirtiest of these games and I’d suggest quite tame in comparison to many others.

Just suck up yet another defeat when many bears expected an entirely different outcome. You’ll be better for it in the end.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Looking at the earlier Johnson challenge on Dessers, looks like exact same foul that was given against Dessers in last Old firm before Roofe’s disallowed goal.

So another penalty missed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Even better
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Aye definitely not an exception, just the norm for Celtic to get the big decisions in their favour
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Ahahahahahahaha

Enjoy yir night

Aye, just watched the last half hour of their game. Looking pretty grim for him, although conditions at Pittodrie looked awful.

Sims was offside, but they didn’t even look at that at the time. Spent all of 20 seconds looking at it, when usually a pen takes a couple mins alone. Saved their erses later on why no one knew at the time
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And a goal kick was awarded instead of a free kick which would have been the call of it was deemed offside at the time.

So showing the offside lines in the second half smacks of Collum trying to find something to take any heat away from him.

Still don’t think it was a pen though
----------------------------------------------------------------------
FWIW I think Walsh can only ask var to check for a pen and var can only highlight to Walsh if it is a pen or not. Var cannot decide on replacing an on field decision of a goal kick. Var couldn't give the pen cos it was offside but they also can't overrule the goal kick.

Play on!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Doesn’t explain the ridiculous length of time it took to show the offside
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Doesn’t make it any less of a correct decision though
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Exactly 👍🏼

I suspect this is yet another ballzup by the SPFL VAR Team, but as you say ultimately the CORRECT decision was made.

Rangers bleating post match that (despite the evidence) the WRONG decision should have been made because someone somewhere messed up at the time is bamboozling 😵‍💫

Someone just snap kyogos leg. Give us something

You're weird, man. Not the first time you've called for a player to be injured.
It really is just a game.

Good performance, great result considering I didn’t think we would get a win today.

McGregor was outstanding today. His best all round performance in years. Outstanding goals from Bernardo and Kyogo. Welsh going off in the first half changed the tide initially, and Hart pulled off a couple of decent saves. Up until Tavernier’s free kick it felt like we completely dominated the game. Could see at the game that Hart left too big a gap at his near post, and having seen a reply it’s just a weak hand trying to stop it as well.

Don’t get the issue about the ref-he booked 6 of our players and hardly any rangers players for similar fouls. Bernardo (having seen a replay) was never a second booking-It’s just embarrassing from Goldson more than anything, and so blatant how quickly all that pain left him when he saw there wasn’t going to be a booking. Walsh played 4 minutes over the 10 minutes he originally added on over the full game. That’s pretty much every game in recent years the focus has been on the ref from rangers fans. Trying to take our moniker of always cheated, never defeated…

Should have taken advantage more when they went down to 10 men to try and make things more comfortable.

And Clement is a tadger.

Mcgregor masterclass, thought he was outstanding tody

Did everything, brilliant performance 👏
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He is constantly there for Celtic, he's a machine
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wonderful today , drove the whole team on

Broke rangers down , kept us going...turned out of trouble , played telling passes , backed everyone up on the ball

Loved watching him today
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agreed.

Btw-also enjoyed Clement and Cantwell having a go at each other when he was subbed. Wouldn’t be surprised if you don’t see much of Cantwell going forward.

There was a wee battle between mcgregor and cantwell and then he turned round and laughed at him and i just thought "there he is".

Was terrific today.

The offside wasn't spotted by the officials at the time. You could find a missed infraction before any VAR review if you really wanted to
