Was excellent today.
I post on here to give and listen to opinions. Right or wrong.
So just going to enjoy the win 👊👊👊
Today for me, outside of 3 valuable points, was
confirmation that we have to bring in players in
January. If we don't, we're going to make it much
harder to get back up.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Left back, and unless anyone leaves, think that will be it.
Have to say agree with most of what you say today Jonty two points worth making, I don't think you'd disagree with either.
My spirits dropped when Byram went off, oh no not Firpo but I thought he had his best game for us for a long time, I don't think you criticise Firpo but he seldom gets plaudits and I thought he deserved them today.
There are quite a few Bamford haters on here, I note you are not one, me neither, I would play him in the cup and if he plays as well as he did today he should start ahead of Piroe. Noticeable how much better he was today than Piroe has been for some time.
One question Jonty, why Birmingham commentary when it was available on LUTV?
Left back for sure. This team needs a true #10.
Those two positions are a must, for me.
And I'd go further and add two more. Either an
additional CB (especially if Cresswell leaves) or
additional midfielder. One or the other.
And I'd look to add another true #9. If Farke
believes in Bamford, that's fine. But, he's injury
prone. He's not someone you can count on
week in week out. Add goals to the bench or
god forbid, the 49ers say fck it and splash
some cash in that position.
Leicester, Southampton will add for sure.
Probably beat a decent pub team today but will hopefully help with confidence rebuilding.
A few aquasitions in January and back on track. We need a centre forward like the old Bamford.
A left back unlike Firpo.
And a playmaker. Does Hernandez have any offsprings?
I think we have to rotate more second half of the season. Piroe should not be a guaranteed starter and Spence should be.
Square plugs have been a problem for years
And I'd much rather see players playing where they're best. Unless injuries deem it nessesary.
I want to see our whole squad contribute so very happy for firpo and Bamford.
Autos nowhere near over for us.

I alluded to that re Firpo coming on, but was pleasantly surprised.
I think Bamford looked better because played in different position, just the fact we played with man up top made a difference, I really think Farke missing a trick there.
re other question: Because I was watching a stream not LUTV.
I think we have to listen to what Farke is telling us, I'm really not expecting any inbounds in Jan and if anything some players exiting.
There are quite a few Bamford haters on here
^^^
Haters? Not really.
In my case, I just think he's over hyped and over paid.

If Farke believes he has what he needs, then he's
not as smart as I gave him credit for. And if he does
opt to sit out January, I think we'll be stretched too
thin, and nowhere near autos.
"If Farke believes he has what he needs"
have you actually listened to him about the window?
He hasn't said this at all in fact quite the opposite.
We can wish for things at Christmas but dont always get what we wish for.......does this sound like someone who believes he has what he needs?
Add to that, will we 100%, for sure, be able to retain
Rodon? Spurs are a mess injury-wise. Do they have
any sort of emergency recall clause. They're calling
back other players on loan. Lose him we're fcked.
Has Cresswell had it with his place in the squad?
He's not getting any kind of look in - granted that's
down to Rodon being brilliant. It looks likely though
that Cresswell pushes to leave this window.
We currently have a squad of 29 players. Seems
good on the face of it until you see that includes:
Ayling
Dallas
Cresswell
Hjelde
Shackleton
Gyabi
Gelhardt
and
Poveda
Gruev
9 of 29 players who have either offered or shown
next to nothing so far.

So what you're alluding to is this:
Farke wants/wishes for players in January.
But, Farke expects to not add players in January.
^
If that's the correct reading, you're either suggesting
that the 49ers/Hammond etc. believe we don't need
to add in January. Or we're skint and can't add.
Or am I reading your posts wrong?

I'm not suggesting it, Farke is.
I listened to it today and it's clear that he's not expecting to get what he might want.
He gave this big spell about not being asleep....the same old rhetoric of if there is a good deal there we'll do it....and also that summer was a really big mess and we could do with some stability ( I agree on teh big mess and agree on the stability with regards to not losing first teasers), but also said those not getting enough minutes might go.
If that's Cresswell I have no problem, too often we have players, hype them up (going to play for England I think was the line about Cresswell) and they never make it.
Cresswell, Poveda, Gelhardt, Shackleton,Gyabi, De Bock.......they can all go on out
Id say we need a left back and a striker. Someone like an Nketia, someone who offers something a little different to what we have currently. A poacher.
Think we already have a decent 10 in Rutter.
It’s funny because we heard for years that Bielsa’s squad was too small, we needed proper back up options and now that we actually have that, they aren’t playing at all and it seems like we don’t need them.
Some do need to go but if Rodon gets an injury then we need cresswell, it’s a long season
Don't get me wrong, I think there's a ton of sub par
players in our squad. There's also three or four who
are massively over paid for what they bring.
However, if (and you may well be right) the club as
a whole either think this squad is good enough or
just as bad, they can't add quality to it, based on
financial issues, we're fcked.
Fcked in the sense that Leicester & Southampton
will add to their already effective squads.
Then we're in russian roulette play off hell again.
Why do our seasons always feel like we're watching
slow motion train wrecks unfold? Weird.
Would love a Pablo but they are a bit difficult to find!!
Think we already have a decent 10 in Rutter.
^^^
He's an inverted winger.
Don't think Gnonto has a future at Leeds either. This would have bothered me 4 month ago, now good luck Willie.

^^^
Big thing about Bielsa was he said over and over
that his system only works on three year cycles.
Every three years, his squads need to be upgraded.
Under Radz/Orta, we never did. A lot of those players
are still here. A few aren't getting better. They're
getting worse.
As for back ups in the squad, we've improved a lot
post Orta. That's undeniable. But, if we want to get
autos, we need to get even better.
Look at Leicester's (they're strolling to the title)
forward/striker options:
Vardy
Iheanacho
Daka
Cannon (got two today)
I'd say their squad of 29 has far fewer passengers
than our 29.
