Eamonn's love child
Just ditch Mikey Johnson, put James Forrest out to graze or help in development for youths and I’ll be happy.
I expect us to sign the square root of fwck all unless it’s a loan until season end or another low cost “prospect”.
I don’t think I’ll be disappointed.

Would be amazed if you didn't bring some players in given the angst of your support
we have players away to asia cup, this has been evident for f... knows how long.
so obviously we will drag our heels on transfers as usual.
business men that are poor at handling the football side, patting themselves on the back for getting one cheap player sold for big bucks out of about 25.
i'd be curious to see how well this model has worked over the years.
there is a guy sitting in saudi arabia right now doing nothing that would be blockbuster for the support.
loan would be an option surely. just make it happen.

Postecoglou was the exception to our miserly approach to the January window.
Maybe we’ll get a decent loan with an option to buy, but the mere thought of us spending anything at a level to bring in an automatic first team pick is laughable to me.
We’re already making noises about having Hatate back as being like a new signing and Nawrocki (sp) is getting the kind of verbal build up that suggests more game time. Then CCV will be back soon and the Asia Cup will be pretty much over by end of January in which we see the return of our players over the time we play the mighty Buckie Thistle and then Ross County at home.
That CL money is “banked” long ago by the business. No way are they dipping into that.
Sorry (happily for you mind), but I just don’t see it. We’re not even on the trail of anyone other than the usual press bites we all suffer from. Rodgers has already acknowledged it and then stated quite clearly he is having a couple of weeks off to recover.

Why would they change that?

His salary expectations make this an absolute non starter for us. I’d be stunned if we even had the audacity to pick the phone up in fear of what they might hear.
Shock therapy treatment would be needed
has it though? how many have we bought and sold for big money?
wanyama - 12
forster 12
Dijk - 13
edouard - 20
jota - 25
thats about 5 hits in the space of about 13 years mate.
think after saudi the salary expectations for anyone would be too much for such a player.
i think we have a chance after a rough few months in saudi, he might be keen on something he loved.

And we’ve won the title 11 or 12 times in that space of time and pocketed the European money all along the way.
Furthermore we made significant profits on all those players.
Yes, it’s worked.

Agreed but Dpurs will happily and by nature pay a lot more, he’ll be with the manager he adores and playing on a much bigger stage.

I suppose it’s everywhere if you know where to get it.
FWIW I don’t expect Celtic to make any significant signing until Rangers are ahead of us in the league by which point obviously it will be too late.
Oh, and in living in Saudi. Absolute luxury.
That, London or Glasgow? Hmmmmm

100%
i would disagree mate, i think when you look at some of our purchases we have had far more misses than hits.
we have failed to qualify for the champions league on many occassions because the quality wasn't there because we tried to get players in cheap to sell for big, and the reality is we only sold for big money a few times.
you never know for sure, but our signings this season are a prime example of poor spending.
more to life than whats around you mate, he's been treated poorly and probably feels unwanted as fvck.

Loads of misses at relatively low values I agree, and that’s our risk strategy. We won’t spend the kind of money to guarantee CL qualification. Never have done.
This seasons signings have been pitifully awful.
