Looks like we are looking to give Livi away fans the club deck in our next home game...

Assuming this is with a view of offering these seats to celtic with the same allocation.

Rangers could be set to pull off a major transfer coup by signing Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi.

SunSport understands the Ibrox club are in the hunt to lure the ex-Chelsea hitman to Scotland on a shock short-term dea

Batshuayi, 30, is on his way out of Turkish club Fenerbahce having failed to agree a new deal.

And it’s believed Philippe Clement has made a pitch to snap up his countryman with crucial talks expected in the next 24 hours.

Gers fly out to a winter training camp in La Manga this week with the Gers boss hopeful of landing Batshuayi in time for the trip.

There are still a number of other clubs eager to sign the one-time £33million goalscorer with reports in Turkey claiming Everton are keen on a loan deal.

But Rangers are believed to be leading the chase as they look to bolster their squad for the Premiership title run-in with a serious piece of transfer business.

Batshuayi has scored eight goals this season but has a huge reputation within the game.

As well as Chelsea, he’s also started for Marseille, Borussia Dortmund and Crystal Palace in his career so far.

I am pretty astonished with what we have achieved over the past couple of months with Dessers as our only fit CF for the vast majority of it. Everyone knows but it has to be said he is one of the poorest all round excuses for a CF we have seen since Kevin Kyle or that boy that’s married to Stacey Solomon that Warburton signed.

To have won our EL group, to have won the cup and to have the chance to go 2 points behind Celtic in the league with our two games in hand is nothing short of astonishing.

The very fact we have brought in silva, are making an attempt for Batshuayi and looking to put Lammers out on loan shows Clement is not f00kin about in writing off the expensive duds Beale brought in.

Roofe is a write off, Danilo’s knee looks like it’s a next season job so we desperately need some quality. He may be 30 but Batshuayi is one I would be worried about if Celtic brought him in. It’s a long shot for me but a good sign we are trying.

Essentials for me in Jan would be another CM - we cannot continue to go into big games with a back up rb in there. Jack is perma injured, Lawrence also looks fragile and Cifuentes could do with 6 months loan in the English championship to see what he is made of.

A right winger to provide competition for McCausland would be great. The lad has done well but we can’t be relying on a B team winger to play at a high level every game if we are to mount serious challenges for the 3 trophies we are still in.

The defence needs upgrading longer term but for me is less of an immediate need than middle to front.

Everyone knows but it has to be said he is one of the poorest all round excuses for a CF we have seen since Kevin Kyle or that boy that’s married to Stacey Solomon that Warburton signed

From watching the OF game Celtic fans have had a taste of what it’s been like for Rangers playing with Dessers this season. He just seems to lack any basic key attributes to play at this level. Plus he gets caught offside at least 5 times a game and he has an awful habit of constantly moaning at the ref looking for non existent fouls that he went out of his way to manufacture.

The fact we seem to be pursuing Batshuayi when we have already signed Fabio Silva is very encouraging. It means that rather than having to rely on a dud like Dessers week in week out he will either be punted or put straight to the back of the queue.

Theres no guarantees any of this will work but I will be super impressed by Clement if we can ship out Lammers and bring in Silva +1 other striker. And if that striker is Batshuayi then I’d be pretty content we will be in a much better place than we were first half of the season.

Only a winger and a midfielder then required to complete a great window.
