Strange.
Not exactly full of talent in the full back positions.
This is excatly ive been banging on about, with everyone on about January and a load of signings.
Absolute dreadful signing.

Not really.
Not shown anything, got a lazy attitude.
Stinks of a player who got a massive contract after a few good games, made his money, not interested
I was surprised to read this
I wouldn’t say he’s done much and has had injuries. Being played out of position instead of a 17 year old midfielder at right back says a lot
I presume we will be after a proper left back. Then Byram could move to the right
Not sure he’s played enough to call it a dreadful signing.
He was one of the best RB in the league, we watched him get injured on debut, played him LB, and then choose to send him back to Spurs before giving him a proper stint at RB. Typical Leeds that

How much do you think its cost for 7 very average performance?
Dreadful
Was one of the best, but thats two years ago 🤷🏻♂️
Never really had chance to string a few games together. Can only assume someone is coming in, hopefully a left back.

7 average performances 5 of which were out of position. Crikey. It’s a huge call nevertheless . They are going to die in this sword if it doesn’t work. Either they have a replacement in mind or Gray is Farke’s first choice for the rest of the season
Easy to call it dreadful in hindsight. It was a risk but had potential to be a great signing. Great player for Forest, then a big money move and a wasted season.
Jack Clarke had a similar career trajectory to Spence - 1 good breakout season and then a big move followed by underwhelming loans. Sunderland got him and he’s now one of the best wingers in the champ.
It’s not worked out, but was a risk worth taking
Well known, he’s got an attitude problem.
On paper looked a great signing, but looked absolutely nothing, when played.
When its the club sending him back, you know something not right.
Thought he’d be a great addition with a theoretical good pedigree. But have to say, albeit on our left, he’s disappointed. Out of position, injuries may have worked against him, I just have been left a bit underwhelmed by his performances….
Ive not seen this laziness or attitude issue but i dont work behind the scenes. Seems to be friends with Summerville on Instagram. Hope he doesn't go to a rival and does well. Hope we are bringing someone else in now.
Might as well send Anthony back. Hes done nowt

He wont have done, barely had any more than ten mins.
disappointing, doesn't seem to have a future with us so we really needed him to impress so we could get a decent fee for him
At least Rodon is managing to do that
Leeds sending him
Back says it all.
Complete waste of time.
It’s difficult with loans
I always feel you should mainly judge a signing in the second year when they are settled ie house Mrs kids in school etc. Obviously loans don’t get that and it’s difficult to find ones who hit the ground running
Gradel was one who did. Maybe the Spence or Anthony types who’ve completed the championship and feel they deserve to stay in the PL are the ones who aren’t going to work despite their best intentions
Maybe the loan types should be the schum lad on loan at Sunderland last year. The ones with more to prove at this level
Boro signed Azaz from Villa who has been on loan at Plymouth. Scored 7 goals from number 10. Saints were apparently keen too. Perhaps someone wants Spence on a permanent. Disappointing start to the window. Ayling won't be going anywhere unless we sign another RB
Leeds sending him

He had a stupid haircut
Wore a snood
wore gloves
Looked soft
half hearted warm up.
But all that doesnt matter, its how you play on pitch.
Sadly, he played liked he looked.
Disappointing, looked w cracking signing on paper
I thought he'd be a good signing also.
We don't know how he trained but certainly didn't get a real chance at his position.
I kind of feel nothing about this.
Like I just dont care that he has gone back.
Suppose that says something about his impact...
Baffled by this.
Where are all these examples of him having an attitude problem?
How many games has he played in his best position? To be left on the bench to watch a 17 year old play there?
Don't be surprised if this one comes back to haunt us.
He hasn't had a chance & even played out of position he did ok. I don't get it.
Just hope it means we have something up our sleeves. But this being us, it probably means we're going to rely on young Archie playing out of position for the rest of the season.
So, rather than strengthening our squad, the club starts
off January by weakening it. Brilliant. That's how you win
promotion. Doubt our rivals follow this genius blueprint.
We really do find ways to shoot ourselves in both feet.
Maybe letting Spence go means we will be bringing in someone. Or else this move only weakens us.
