I think the only chance we have with him is to loan him abroad somewhere, so he gets a reality check of what it means to be so lucky to be able to have a career in English football. If he fails with no scrutiny or attention on him, we can just bin him off. It's kind of a shame but we don't owe the lad anything.

Maybe Sporting Lisbon will do the trick like they did with Marcus Edwards

Levy is probably looking for a full sale rather than 50%. Just get him off the books.

Must be a right if we're seriously just selling him now. The potential upside if he sorts his head out is huge

What a mess the whole spence affair is. Deal dragged out, chairman signed him without manager approval, manager calls it out, young player not played and confidence destroyed, loaned out, sent back, now just sat around stinking the joint out. All for the sun of 12 million whilst we reportedly won’t pay the extra 5 mill to sign the cb we needed yesterday

Spurs in a microcosm.

POK saying unsure if Udogie is risked due to a sore hammy.

If that's the case

What about them? All wanted by the manager of the time. None called out as ‘club’ signings by the manager

Not sure what your point is here.

My point is only one man dealt with the Spencer deal as was well documented at the time. Same with rondon when Jose called that out.

My point is that one deal isn't 'Spurs in a microcosm'. It's a crap signing we did, sure. But we've done more good than bad in that time. Some fantastic. So your narrative is nonsense

I always thought it was Paratici who wanted Spence?

Levy closes every deal does he? Nothing unusual there.

My point is that yet again we are reportedly messing around over a few million for a proper needed target, whilst happily gambling 12 mill on a player the manager didn’t want. This has happened time and time again under Enic. . Grealish, skriniar, moutinho, duff etc etc. So yes it’s spurs under Enic in a microcosm. Profiteering over footballing success.

All profits go back to the first team so that's a nonsense argument.

Well then that doesn't make sense. What happened with Spence isn't the same as Skriniar (who never wanted to come anyway) or Grealish (who yes we facked up with) because he actually signed. If the Dragusin deal falls through over a few million difference in valuation then you might have a point there. But it taking a few days longer and Spence turning out to be a waster doesn't fit the microcosm narrative

Classic Moan Mack.

Ever since Levy put a the price of tickets up Mack has had a bee in his bonnet 😂

Levy has facked up numerous deals for top players with his penny pinching ways, over the years the list is endless.

I reckon he actually gets off on the feeling of getting one over other clubs. His activities in the transfer market are part of the reason why this club has won one poxy league cup under his tenure.

BTW....Dier to Bayern Munich. Thank you agent Kane

-------------

Doesn't Kane want to try and win the league there?

We must get these new signings done sooner or later. Tonight is already one game we'll not have the benefit of using any new players. Admittedly what we have should be enough but we know how down to the bones we're going to be this month and we have a huge PL game mid-Jan.
