Board 18 is quite tasty today.

Kevin McDine, Chris Hogg, Mark McGeeney and Peter Jacques. The latter two are playing each other first game.

Tough draw for Fallon Sherrock on board 21 with Adrian Gray and Ryan Hogarth on the same board.

Barrie Bates, Bhav Patel, Graham Borland and Kai Fan Leung all on the same board.

Youngsters Thomas Banks and Leighton Bennett should be looking to win their respective boards at the very least, quite a nice draw for them both.

Last year 3 points and a +2 leg difference was the line for qualification in UK for those who don't finish top 8 on a day.
In Europe it was 2 points and +13 before a couple of drop-outs.

So you would think Fallon is more than comfortable already.

American Alex Spellman is absolutely smashing it today.

98.71 average over his first 3 games.
Currently averaging 111 and 4-0 up against Peter Jacques.

Fallon just went out in 11 darts. Leads 4-3.

I'm surprised they haven't gone down the route of making the Womens Series the same as the Challenge and Development tours and given 2 spots to that. Would mean, after 2 years, you have 4 women with tour cards.
Guess they wouldn't be able to compete in Womens events if that were the case though?

Girvan has gone for the day. 3 points on the board.

Last 16 (winners qualify for the finals)

Patrick Williams vs Keith Rooney
Andy Hamilton vs Thomas Lovely
Mark Dudbridge vs Shane McGuirk
Thomas Banks vs Kevin Lane or Patrick Quinn (currently 2-2)
Alex Spellman vs Charlie Martin
Fallon Sherrock vs Brett Claydon
Dan Read vs Jamie Atkins
Chris Quantock vs Ashley Coleman

I just don't think there are 4 women at the required standard.

That doesn't stop them throwing them into majors though
