Bunting didn't play today so Dobey regained #1 position despite going out in 2nd round.
Aspinall also out in 2nd, he sits in that 64th danger spot.

Radek Szaganski is closest to Aspinall, needing to reach QF. Graham Hall will need to reach semi while the rest need a final place or to win it outright

Jonny Clayton beats the last remaining player outside the top 64, Aaron Monk, thus securing Nathan Aspinalls place at the finals.

Semi finals are Searle vs Clayton and Rock vs O'Connor in an all Irish match-up.

If Searle can win the event he will be third seed in the finals, otherwise he will be fourth behind Dobey, Bunting and Heta.

Clayton can improve his position from 10th to 6th, while Rock can move up to 8th if either win. O'Connor could jump as high as 22nd.


There are a handful of 1st round games already determined, with Luke Humphries to face Gabriel Clemens. Chris Dobey will meet Nathan Aspinall in a tasty looking early tie, while MvG plays Ian White. Another big first round match-up will see Dave Chisnall and Joe Cullen meet. Ross Smith faces DvdB and Daryl Gurney and Peter Wright go head to head.

That means Luke Littler faces Rob Cross in the first round of the PC finals. Rock has Rapid Ricky Evans and Clayton gets Florian Hempl.

The Grand Slam qualifier was today and 8 players booked their place at the event that starts next week - but Gerwyn Price is not one of them.

Price lost in the final game to Mickey Mansell, who will join fellow last 16 winners Keane Barry, Martin Lukeman, Ryan Joyce, Danny Noppert, Cameron Menzies, James Wade and Ross Smith.

The 2024 Challenge Tour is complete and Connor Scutt wins it with £11325 won from the years events. He gets that last Grand Slam place and a Tour Card, with his World Championship place already secured.

Wesley Plaisier came a close second with £10650, giving him a Tour Card as well. He too already had a WC place so 3rd and 4th in the CT OoM win WC places. Christian Kist (£9425) and Alexander Merkx (£8300) are the beneficiaries.


Andreas Harrysson, who won 2 of this weekends 4 events, ends 5th on 7975 and Danny Jansen - who hit a 9 darter - ends 6th on 7600.
