Luke Shaw has genuinely been one of our best signings post Fergie, certainly in top 3. And no he's not perfect at all and has had poor spells but overall he's up there with Bruno for me as best recruit since 2013.

I'd start Shaw at left back over any of our other options without a moment's hesitation. I'd probably start him at CB over a few of our CB choices too as we have already seen.

Dalot and AWB are just not good enough for this club. They have totally different qualities and weaknesses to each other but overall they just aren't good enough ultimately. Back up players at best is what they should be.

I know the security guard who was there that night and who testified in court. The hotel is only a few miles away from where I am now.

Evans may well have been found not guilty at retrial but, by all accounts, he is a bit of an unsavoury character.*

I don't believe it was that either. The retrial and what.my mate said convinced me that there was a lot of doubt about the conviction.

Ridiculous question.

AWB, at least, has purposeful ability as a fullback - albeit not the greatest.

Dalot has less defensive ability as a fullback than a championship level fullback.

They're not remotely comparable by any meaningful metric.
