Honestly, I would prefer it if they had at least a week between tournaments.
I think we have previously spoken about tournaments here that are immediately followed by one in China etc. Obviously we don't have the travel / time difference this time, but especially after such a big tournament, a week break til the next one would be preferable for me.
There's plenty of room in the calendar, no need to squeeze them in.
Schedule for this event is all over the place as always.

Yea, he's playing this one, then having a couple of months off, recking he'll play the Tour championship before the worlds...
Ronnie will probably play kamikazee stuff in this event initially.
Judd wins 4-2. He was 2-0 down and started off poorly but played well in the last 4 frames. Pity no century though.
3-3 between Selby and Sijun.
Clearly still a lot of needle between Ronnie and Carter. I don't know if this is accurate though.

Carter accusing Ronnie of "snotting" over the floor at the Masters
Carter seems quite childish and seems to think he can psyche out Ronnie, it’s not really gonna work out very well for him and also they were good friends around 20 years ago, not sure holding on to that falling out is gonna help him beat Ronnie in these big matches.
However, Ronnie does talk a lot of nonsense and I can understand players not liking him. Always found him quite condescending to Carter who has been through quite a lot in his life. He’s already had a much better career than Carter has, why the need to rub it in?
Seems weird that Ronnie reacted like this. Vafaei made the mistake last year of saying silly things about him and Ronnie ignored it and let his snooker do the talking and at the end of the match Ronnie acted really nice with Vafaei and they are friends again. I'm not expecting Ronnie and Carter to be friends but didn't expect Ronnie to react like this especially when he has won the final.
Ronnie has a rep of farting around the table, so the snot thing aint that surprising 😂
Seems like school playground stuff to me. No doubt they'll end up meeting at the World Championships...........
