All clicking in place for Spurs in Ange's first season, let's just wait and see how things unravel in season two.
Look guys, it's not great at the moment for us, we lack cohesion, lack fluidity, lack leadership and lack game management. I never expected us to be the finished article in Eth's 2nd season, I expected bumps along the way, and ladies and gentlemen this season is the bump (a rude awakening), it simply can't get any worse so with a few transfers our trajectory will change, it will be upwards. I refuse to give up but I also refuse to hang the manager at dawn, I'm far from impressed though.

I didn't think we were as bad as I felt we would be? Obvs not great but a decent point and some players getting back to fitness, not a lot of creativity in CM so a lot of the time it was hit and hope or long balls against a high defensive line today.
All in all I'm sorta happy with the point.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Annoying to let a leading position go twice in a game (again). They were most threatening from set pieces, I think we probably created more from open play.
On the upside, Hoijlund looked dangerous whenever given the chance. Good to have Martinez back, you can see how his ability on the ball will help us.
Midfield was non existent, Rashford wasteful as ever, Garnacho too tonight. Dalot, AWB and Evans are simply not good enough.
This manager should never get another penny to spend, end of

Could be a good deal, Hannibal was never Utd quality, even by today’s standards
----------------------------------------------------------------------
True, but neither are mct, eriksen, mount, van de beek or amrabat.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hannibal at least offers some attributes we’re crying out for, he’s dynamic, hard working, carries the ball and commits defenders.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'll never understand selling our young players who work twice as hard, cheaper, loyal, driven, only to keep players who are the exact opposite. Dismiss our players but try to prove that Bruno, Eriksen, Antony are going to come good. I'm sorry but it's pure stupidity I'm afraid.

In this example I agree. Can’t moan that ETH hasn’t given youngsters a chance though. We’ve got Garnacho and Mainoo starting, Kambwala has had minutes.
I guess I’m Hannibal’s case, he’s too rash. If he resolves that he has a lot of potential imo.
Watching that game, even though I am half cut, and had to speak to the wife a bit, so my full attention was not on the match was that Spurs dominate possession, and man utd at home had far less possession and basically played as an inferior counter attacking team.
Against a Spurs that were missing Son Sarr Bissouma Kulusevski and Maddison. 5 starters

For me it's just a mindset. If we had better players playing well I'll understand getting rid. We played wan Bisakka on the left for 90 mins!!!! Why? Our young left back is being sold because hes not good enough but Wan Bisakka is? It makes no point.
To me it's a mindset. If we are going to be rubbish let's do it with those young lads. At least I'll watch some heart... cant be watching millions spent and still watch rubbish. It's just a waste
Another indifferent day at the office. The soul is being ripped out of United supporters at Old Trafford with game after game panning out like this. We watch in numbed disbelief most of the time. Not sure how long this can continue for Erik tbh.
We were second best today. And they had a makeshift team out there. Yet its clear between the difference between the 2 teams. You could see that Spurs played with purpose in a drilled system, whilst United play like they have never met each other before and players try to improvise as they go through the motions of the game. Our main hope is for individual moments that come off. Which are few and far between. Which is why Rashford must play as he looks the most likely to get at least one moment right. As he did today. Having said that McT should have won it at the death with a header he somehow nutted in the Stretford End. We need somebody quickly to grab these players by the scruff of the neck and organise them front to back into some kind of a shape and system. Im not surev Erik could do that.
Jim was in the main stand today. He must have thought wtf have I got involved in. Its going to be a long road for him.

Same here mate.
It feels like every single fan in Old Trafford knows he's being sacked and they just haven't announced it yet. Feels like the players know it too.
It's going to a long goodbye as the club just isn't in a place to make a change right now but let's not beat another bush.....this is a goodbye. He's not going to get a 3rd season and I think deep down even Erik knows it too.
Spurs having so many players out today has done Erik no favours at all because its actually shown him up to be an inferior coach to big Ange. He can't hide behind the injuries anymore as Spurs were missing more than we were and still played by far the better football.
New manager for the summer is top of the priority list. God help whoever comes in though. With no money and no European football we won't be shopping at the top end of the market that's for sure.

Son, Maddison & Kulusevski who has been key player.
Any team would struggle with 3 key players out.
Not to add Bissouma.

So you’d play Bentacur with Sarr and Bissouma?
I think not.
I think you can argue Spurs were missing 4 key players but we were also missing 3 key players. Having your best back 5 makes a huge difference.
We’re a team lacking momentum and run awfully but we need to be realistic too. I think a fit Shaw, Martinez and Casemiro will make a huge difference to our performances moving forward.
Do I think EtH is the answer, I’m not sure? Do I think injuries have massively effected his ability to develop this squad, yes very much so.
Btw, I’m not dismissing it, just saying you’re over playing it.
Every team misses players.
I think Son and Maddison are big misses. Not sure United would have lined up the same if Maddison played though.

5 starters

You’re overplaying the injuries imo.
Son and Maddison the only notable absentees.

3
Son, Maddison & Kulusevski who has been key player.
Any team would struggle with 3 key players out.
Not to add Bissouma.

I think your underplaying it or just don’t know who starts for us
Kulusevski would have played as well as sarr and bissouma
That’s 5 first team starters missing with son and Maddison

And yet I keep hearing that people are happy with your two wide players.
You can’t play them all.
