Yeah I’ve said this a number of times, sick of the amount of bloody Israel Palestine articles, as well as movie articles and other random sheite from the likes of Robb & MU52. Once in a blue moon is alright but it’s constant (I’m adding that caveat because in a moment of weakness I responded to Robb’s tribute bands one today ).
Then there’s the bloody never ending RIP articles, this place is like the facking obituaries page in the Observer at times - an article for every pointless media personality that snuffs it. The Football Live thread has gone down the Gary Glitter as well, there’s no football talk really, just the endless cycle of in-jokes and puns. It’s not a football live thread like the old one used to be, you can’t get any proper match discussion going on there, the likes of Forza and Barry have seen to that.
It’s hard in general to get a solid football article running well on the PL board in general because of the infestation of wums and numpties that will invade them. I guess that’s the problem with a multi team forum. I was pleasantly surprised my Spurs rest of season article yesterday ran as well as it did - you almost expect these things to get detailed by terd heads. I think the majority of serious football discussion on here happens in the silos of long running team specific articles such as the spurs transfer thread, Liverpool tranny thread, Arsenal thread and the Haven. No idea what the Utd fans use. Which is really more like everyone having a single team forum than multi.
Not a criticism of the forum, just an observation on the way it’s evolved.
