90s because TV was at its best in the 90s imo.

Totally agree about the crisps BTW and I'd add on the size of chocolate bars too

'The modern world is not for people like me'

This is quite a sad line OP, sorry to read that.

In answer to your question I'd go back and merk baby Hitler

So you 13.8 billion years worth of time to travel back to, and you want to go back to the 90s to watch tv that you can watch today.

How boring is your life?

In ancient times:

The early 6th century to watch the Knights of the round table and King Arthur himself battle the Saxon Hordes. Experience what life was like back then for a couple of hours before realising I wouldn’t last 2 mins in that era.

Modern Times:

Late 80’s/Early 90’s - Saturday morning TV was gold, Saturday evening TV was gold, football was still decent, computer games were great and life was much cheaper.

The 90’s were excellent! More advanced than the 80’s yet not too complex and certainly without all the downright utter craziness and nonsense they want you to believe now that would be laughed at back then.

I certainly hear you OP

Neanderthals were still around then, as were cave lions, woolly mammoths, etc

Would have been epic

Why are people moaning about phones and technology. No need to buy top shelf magazines anymore.

I think I'd opt for travelling forward to the 2190's in an attempt to see Spurs win their next trophy.

If I could get multiple uses, id have liked to go back and see some dinosaurs, perhaps punch a T Rex then leg it back. Would also go back to the 1940's and see the Spitfires in action. Being serious though, probably the 90's, before civilizations threw a spanner in the works. Back then, there was no social media, 2 genders, no VAR etc etc.

Yeah there were still problems but life was much simpler, more fun and more community spirited.

Pubs were still a big thing, spending all day with your mates in person, penny sweets, super Mario, Funhouse, jumpers with massive logos, tracksuit bottoms with poppers, great football kits, foriegn holidays were a big deal

I could go on

People generally just want to go back to the time when they were young and more care free.
