It should have been a routine 3 points tonight if we had just done our jobs.

The point at Lincoln looks good after tonight.

Night all, gutted, some will call it an over reaction but I saw a lack of desire, ideas and an a general apathy tonight, I can live with that from a few players for a portion of a game, but not most of them for most of the game.
We need to get out of this league and are in real danger of bottling it

January 18th 1969: Charlton 2 Derby 0.

So I suppose these things happen. Need to bounce back.

Most of the criticism has been justified - so long as we don't get entirely carried away by one bad performance.

Haha cheers, just made it home so guess a lot easier trip than our travelling fans.
Was tricky tonight, fielding questions from my lad that at times I’ve been raving about.
Thought Elder had his best game that I’ve seen from him, think Kane will be a much bigger threat when he can play further forward, but if it doesn’t go down the wing then I don’t see the option through the middle.
At times tonight Thommo was our most advanced player, not much by way of control through the middle from Connor or Mac and this was an area we could have dominated, Charlie Savage for them has been going missing all season so was a good route in for me.

JJ has done his hamstring. How long is that out for normally?

posted on 24/1/24

Depending on severity could be 6-8 weeks.

posted on 24/1/24

Would walking off pretty easily suggest it might not be too severe?

Well so called Derby fans, I offered you the guarantee of promotion a short while ago but you have all chosen to ignore it. As we are yet to lose when I am out of country none of you had offered to contribute just £100/month each to ensure that I can have an extended winter holiday. Call yourselves Derby fans. This is your last chance to do so or condemn us to this awful division for yet another year. Come on, don’t be mean, you know it makes sense.

Are you getting close to your '90 day in six months' limit yet?

Would a restraining order work?

Do you actually live in the centre of thorne, or is it bit further South towards the Rampton area.

As they appear to let me out I can’t live in the Rampton hospital but the Rampton area is a pleasant rural spot full of quiet villages. If you don’t want to do some positive to help the team then don’t contribute to my winter holiday fund but then you will know who to blame if we aren’t promoted. Can’t understand your reluctance to do something positive for the team.

I genuinely admire how Paul Warne can get the most out of a car stuck in gear 2. The effort and determination is pretty striking. I feel like it's been a valuable learning experience, in my chosen discipline, of spectating.

I just would occasionally like to try slipping the car into third. I have a feeling it might be able to handle it.

I fear the Brexiteer's wrath might be coming your way 2W.

I was surprised by down-beat everyone was yesterday - admittedly I didn't see the game. However, I wonder how many at the start of the season would have settled on 4th in January. We are still very much in the mix, and no one pulling clear.

We are hit and miss - failing in games we should win - but so is everyone else. We also produce some good stuff but don't follow up.

It's a funny old league. If anyone is looking for reassurance. Derby and Bolton for the auto's, remainder of the top six as is, rest falling adrift.

Remain calm 🐧

Quite poetic, 2W.
I fear the engine may require a major decoke before we pay any more attention to the wings 🤔

I think a bit of perspective is indeed called for the morning after the night before. But it was not an enjoyable night before and definitely a wake up call.

I’ve calmed down after the debacle and although I would love to be wrong, I don’t think this squad and Warne’s tactics are good enough to get automatics. I feel that both Bolton and Peterborough are better equipped than Derby. The play offs are a lottery and I see us falling short again.
