Robb asks lots of questions, that's good for a presenter.

Soccer Saturday died when technology made streaming 3pm kick offs more widely available. Its probably not really watched by anyone below a certain age.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Also Twitter updates.
Why watch people poorly tell you about a goal when you can see the goal yourself 30 seconds after it happens.

Yeah that too.
I generally find that shows go past their sell by date as technology and culture move on. The people who struggle to move on with it then blame 'wokeness' (used to be political correctness) for the fact the show declines, starts to look dated due to low interest or is no longer shown.

A Question of Sport was an interesting one. They cancelled a Woman of age who knew a lot about sport, and replaced her with a middle aged white male who knows nothing about sport. Yet somehow that was claimed to be part of the woke agenda.
It was more of a dumbing down move to appeal to the Love Island crew. Turn it into A League of their Own or such. Then ironically the people that watch these shows are the ones who complain about woke agendas. They literally changed the show because you are an idiot sir and feed the demand for this shiiite.
It's a weird one cause I've noticed Sky are increasingly trying to appeal to the younger demographics by having more shows involving youtubers or other internet personalities, which makes sense to appeal to the new generation, but equally I'm not really sure how many 20 year old football fans tune into Sky Sports outside of games these days.
The only person I know who actually still watches Soccer Saturday is my partner's dad who's in his 70s.
TV is dying in generally. Young people mostly stream.
The changing of pundits on shows like Soccer Saturday is generally to try not to alienate younger generations. How many 20 years olds know who Charlie Nicholas, Tony Cottee, Phil Thompson, Matt Le Tissier etc are? After a while it just becomes an old boys club that doesn't attract a new audience.
They will have felt like they need to change it to freshen it up, but the format is dying anyway and they have probably left it too late to modify it.

You know how people claim to "tell it how it is", like their views are factual and everyone else is just afraid to say it? Is it not a case that they are just too stupid to understand that that is still actually just how they see it, their view, like everyone else has a view? Imagine being so ignorant and arrogant that you believe that the way you see everything is factual.

People are so desperate for attention that they cannot even do exactly what you are meant to do when someone else is desperate for attention and ignore them.
