No one player can be bigger than the club.

If this guy is pouting then 15m with out having to pay his wages, as in percentage, ow enough.

Really winds me up when talented players waste their talent or act all uppity. It's a slap to fans imo

Your not allowed to bad mouth Rashford. Its all tactical issues gone wrong for a night out on a Thursday night.

Agreed. Some on here accuse anyone who criticise him of having an agenda.

The fact is that other than a hot streak between Jan-March last year he’s been pretty poor for a few years.

Now his attitude seems to be poor as well I’d get rid tbh. He’s not going to get any better.

posted on 29/1/24

I reckon we could get more than that.

Yesterday some people were saying that bobody in their right mind would pay for Rahford and poay his wages.

Who is offering 50m for him anyway. Can you provide a link.

£50m? Absolutely no chance. He's worth more than that.

He won't be leaving anyway. Nobody other than Saudi clubs and PSG will be able to afford him. Don't see him moving to the middle east so all comes down to PSG and Mbappe.

Who else could afford him? Madrid don't need him, Bayern don't need him and Barca probably don't either and they are skint anyway.

Chelsea will definitely go for him

Whatever you think of Rashford as a player, he holds significant commercial value. I'd only be considering 80m plus tbh.

posted on 29/1/24

Richarlison just went to Spurs for £60m by comparison. Rashford has been far more consistent than he has in England.

posted on 29/1/24

I think he's worth persevering with for another season but he really does need to show that he wants to be at the club and be seen as a leader. He's been in the first team for eight years now.

Same as with each and every member of our squad though really I wouldn't be devastated if he left either.

Wouldn't be shocked if we find out soon he's going through stuff away from football. It's not just his performances, his body language looks like someone with the weight of his world on his shoulders.

His cousin died last year so it could be something to do with that who knows?

Snap their hand off.

Although, we'll probably replace him with someone worse.

Read my post above. I have suspected not all is right with him for a while now.

OP

what makes you so sure that he wont get any better?

I bet if he left United he would become very good at another big name club with a better football culture and manager/coaches.

He suits a team playing on the counter attack.

There's absolutely no doubt about that. Totally agree.

Playing on the counter attack is still our more effective weapon though with the players we have.

If he was really crap and wont get any better, nobody would be lining up to sign him for 50m+ (if they are) and pay this daft wages. The truth is United would get a lot more than 50m for him. And hed do very well elsewhere.

Maybe the boss could send him to the forest to fix up and recuperate like he did sancho.

Then we can blame the boss for not being tactically sound on fifa and clubbing on a Thursday night.

Sounds like a good plan.

I first suspected problems when he kept pointing to his head last year? Dead giveaway.

I think he found it hard to accept that Culer refused to publish his much anticipated book review.

Sancho wasn't really in any trouble though. What Erik said about him was really tame. Sancho made it 1,000 times worse with a stupid social media post.

For all we know Rashford will take his punishment on the chin. Mistakes were made. I doubt we will see posts from I'm slagging off the manager etc.

Any coach with half a brain can see him for what he is (and what he has always been) at this level - a journeyman footballer for those unwilling or unable to keep up.

And he won't fetch anything like that kind of fee. Although stranger things have happened.

However, that's no reason to let him go. He is just a journeyman, but he's a useful sub & squad player and can catch lesser level teams out in cup games or europe.

No harm in him staying but, if he goes, then he really won't be missed if a midfielder with better ball control and greater team intelligence comes in. And that's not too great an ask.

posted on 29/1/24

I reckon Bayern would be interested in him. He’d tear the German league apart.

Rashford wouldn't fetch £50m? 😂😂😂

Spurs just paid £60m for Richarlison mate. Not very bright are you?

Rashford would go for £75/80m maybe more if he was sold. I don't think he will leave personally but if PSG really wanted him badly enough and offered silly money even I'd take it.

The only issue is I don't want ETH getting £80m to spend. We'd buy another Antony.
