Why are thumbs upping on your own post? lol
Anyway I hope he continues but would still like to sign another striker or see how Veliz develops because next season he will need competition if/when we are in Europe.
The amount of ground he is covering lately is elite and then you add the goals too. We can't rely on him doing it every game for 90mins plus and he will need to be subbed off to save him from injury.

So he can see if someone replied on his member page lmao
Also I have seen Ali G saying next season could be Son's last or hinting at it. I think he still at least two more years in him if his minutes are managed properly so no harm in looking for a successor.
Hence the Nusa and winger links probably?
Richarlison struggles with his hold up play particularly with his back to goal and his link up play can sometimes be a struggle.. Have come to accept his faults otherwise my dog will hate me more as he knows to stay away from me when our game is on
At least he is making up for his deficiencies by banging in a few. Guess we will have to accept it until something better comes along.

Watch the game from yday again and tell me hold up play has not improved
He's played great since getting healthy. Deserves the chance to continue his development under Ange next season (regardless of whether we sign another striker... 15 Goals would be a great return given the way his season started). Seems a popular chracter, never heard anyone say a bad word about him and Ange seems to like him..... The weak areas of his game, hold up play & being as clinical as others have massively improved under Ange.... Think he's perfect for the system...... + he likes to dish it out a bit.. Goes well with Romero, Lolo & Biss... Good to have physical presence through the spine of the team

& Sarr/ PEH
He seems to have found his groove as our no.9 and I have always thought we'd need that more physical option in that position, as teams sit deep against us, which is when Son in the middle doesnt work.
If you consider out attacking choices:
LW: Deki & Johnson
RW: Son & Werner (& Solomon)
Fwd: Richi
If he's injured/off form we do lack a like for like backup.
So rather than off loading him, I'd add to him and we'll need extra legs if we take this style into a 50-60 game season.
But if the Saudis came in with £75m
Defensively he is one of the strongest forwards in the PL, his movement is also very decent, hold up play is ok. As long as he gets 15 goals a season then no reason to upgrade really.
probably our player of January
hope hes not just looking better cause Son isnt playing
I'm personally in the camp of preferring we go after a LW to a CF. Werner, Son and Brennan can get in behind well but we're still missing someone who can go by a fullback

Agree. I think Kulu is good enough to play up top as well and cover Richy if needed.
Do we buy Werner in the summer? Take the option up
I think he's worth thinking about as a 6th choice forward given the price, I doubt we can do better for that role

Do any of the posters on here know if Richarlison is fit or not?
I doubt if they do. Just discussing aplayers merits with no knowledge of the players disposition at all.
The results speak for themselves. Fit or not, the guy is scoring goals....and near misses too. And he's doing his bit in defence.
Obviously he's a good player. And will be better with Son around.
