You were well beaten tbf, better all over the park
But you defo should have had 2 pens, no question
As an aside...connection between Carney Chukwuemeka and Cristo Nkunku was promosing (as I expected it would be) + finished the match unscathed, positive to take from the match.
The former' display put some player to shame, playing at maybe 40% capacity.
A smashingly well-taken finish with a plomb into the bottom corner from the latter which had their defenders in a spin cycle. Dance puppets dance - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1d85kCgNgWRvLWuLwL9VLqfiGYKQsf_-v/view?usp=sharing
Also accentuated the gravity of Nico' presence in the Frontline; outlet to play the ball into between the lines and make it stick, excellebt ability to retain possession whilst carrying the ball forward, linking play with back to goal, making threatening movements beyond the lastline.
The chance creating improves tenfold with Nico in the side.
All of Cristo, Carney, Nico are problem-solvers in their nature. Key players up top.
Look forward to the vvd hasn't been dribbled past since before christ...completely ignoring last night
Has their been a report at all from the Refs Association, or whatever it is they call these people !
I'm sure if their is, all will be glossed over with platitudes and bullsheet !
Defo one pen, but not two. The second one should have been given.
The amount of desperate dives from your players was embarrassing. Yes we know it was Tierney ref but that was pathetic.

Agreed. The first one was never a pen. VVD was just standing there, feet planted, not moving. 2nd was a pen, not that it would have made much difference. 'Pool could easily have had 7 or 8 on the night.
What is it about the modern football fan that seems to struggle between disagreeing with a decision vs corruption?
It’s pathetic.
These are debatable decisions, which is the case almost always.
Penalties? Possibly.
Red card too though, how on earth do you work that one out?
Yep, both pens. But not enough to scream corruption & frankly would've been robbery if we got anything from the game. I don't have the cheek to complain.
If anyone should have been sent off last night it was Chilwell.

Yep good shout
Mudryk being allowed to impersonate a footballer should result in a points deduction tbh
Honestly, Chelsea should issue an apology statement for me having to witness that monstrosity
More excuses, I think it's time the club moved on.
Chilwell should have been gone after he rugby tackled a player to the floor during the Bradley goal.

He really is awful isn't he!
Arsenal must have felt bad that Chelsea got him over them, so they helped out by buying Havertz.
First, we have to male it clear that Liverpool were excellent last night. They carved us open time and time again and deserved their win.
However, I do think that we could have had two penalties. First one is often given and the second one is 100% a penalty.
I also notice a lack of outrage in the press today. When these things happen to Arsenal, Liverpool or United, it is always reported as the biggest crime in the world. But more or less media silence about those incedences last night.
But, I do think that it is important, while voicing our disquiet over the decisions, that we admit that we were totally out classed last night.

Definitely a boy that cried wolf scenario for Chelsea when it came to the Nkunku penalty.
Should have been given but ref probably assumed it was just another dive.

And yet he gave absolutely everything to Liverpool however minimal the contact. I've already said Liverpool were excellent last night but there is no excuse for the referee, nor for Chilwell, who was quite rightly booked.
This conversation will end by tonight. If the roles were reversed we would be hearing about this for a while

I think the media haven't really said anything because it was such a dominant display. Even with 2 penalties I still reckon we find a way to win yesterday.
Close game and it gets mentioned more.

You may be right about winning, you were superior. However, had we gone one up from Gallagher's penalty claim, the match could have been different. But, the media in general have a love affair with Liverpool, United and Arsenal. No disputing Liverpool were miles better than us last night though.
