Couldn’t help have a wee giggle at Warnock’s post match comments there which seemed to (deliberately or not) answer Brendan Rodgers’ barbed answer about him coming to Scotland today.

Rodgers said : “Now he’s up he’ll see what the pitches are like, he’ll see what the media is like and he’ll see what the refereeing is like”

Warnock the goes out of way to heap praise on the ref and the pitch 🤣🤣🤣

And I don’t think Warnock is the type to give two hoots about the media 🤣
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well spotted. Playing at Ibrox (pitch) and Rangers having a player Red carded is clearly what BR was referring to. So based on his first 24 hrs in Scotland, I too expect Warnock will grab no headlines about Pitches and Refs/VAR moving forward 👍🏼

Excellent three points last night. Thats all that matters in the end.

Type of game that showed why Rangers fans were desperate to sign a Shankland or Miovski type. We would have scored another couple of goals with someone like that in the team imo.

I like Silva - he’s a far more capable and clever player than Dessers. Still not convinced he’s a goal scorer though.

Interesting to see Raskin not getting a sniff - especially when he brought Diomande on ahead of him last night despite him not being fully match fit.

like the fact the manager doesn’t care about individual egos or reputations. Cantwell seems to have got the point and is responding by scoring regularly.

Raskin turn to take it up a level or two now👍

Raskin does need to up his levels a bit tbf but Sterling was brought on ahead of Raskin ... Diomande was brought on to go into the 10 role for Cantwell and he instantly looks like he will settle in fine.

Silva looks like he will stretch defence a lot more than Dessers.

watched the game last night, thought Rangers started very well and controlled most of the game but never created many clear cut chances

big keepers cost the Dons a point imo

thought red card was very harsh and I thought Goldson was lucky to get away with the handball near the end

Gives good options midfield. Can’t drop Cantwell with form he is in, Lundstram a nailed on started so assuming Diomande would be the third based on fee.

Lawrence, Sterling and Raskin are brilliant backup there.

Think we’ll see best of Silva in Europe, but I’d start him over Dessers in the league too

I agree Cantwell is coming into form, he is still nursing his groin through games. thats the past three games at some point he has pulled up slightly with a problem with his groin.

2nd game in a row he has either has tried to press or follow a runner and have seen him pull up.

yesterday he did it and signalled it was time to come off.

I think long term Clement will want Diomande in next to Lundstrum to be that cm that looks to break the lines. But Diomande can play just about anywhere.

he played in every position for his last time outwith RB, CB and GK very versatile player which is also a clear theme with Clement.

If we could play any team every week I would pick Hibs.

They try and play out from the back and arent good enough to.

They are open and try to attack you but they arent good enough to.

The games are entertaining and we usually win fairly comfortably.

I expect Celtic to do the same tonight. As much as I would Celtic to slip up again I just dont think tonight will be the night.

Brendan will pop his Easter Rd cherry tonight.

they have been in dreadful form but i would also expect a reaction to Saturdays result - maybe from both teams .
if it gets to 0-0 at HT then i think we will shiiittt the bed

Thing is their manager has been very open and consistent about saying he isnt going to change the way he plays.

And that way plays right into the hands of teams that are fitter and better technically - like Rangers and Celtic.

Did they get a draw against Celtic earlier in the season so its not impossible? I just think they have been pash poor every time we have played them.
