Agreed Stoopo. It is making the best of the situation. Talented player for sure but rarely fit and showed what he was all about on transfer deadline day last year.
Speaking of Bournemouth, we got the right end of the deal on Tyler Adams, selling an injured player(still not back) and using the proceeds to get Ampadu, Kamara, Gruev and Piroe.
sigh
I'm sure the wanna-be chartered accountants on here will have some issue with this
does seem best all round to me though.
lets just hope he doesn't score a half decent free kick at any time

Accounts wise I assume they would take into account how long his deal has left and based on the fact he hasn’t set the Prem on fire yet, a fee of £1m less than we paid for him seems decent enough.
Potentially he could go on to become a £50m player but obviously only Bournemouth thought this when they came in for him - no big clubs did. No offence to Bournemouth intended.
Plus, as you say, we pulled their pants down with Adams.
Maybe we have a sell on clause too? I mean these guys can set up contracts in their sleep 😏
Hopefully this happens, because we will have dodged a massive bullet.
£20m for a player who’s only started 4 games, I think its a great deal.
Kristenson, Aarronson, Roco, I suspect, going to be massive losses
Option or Obligation to buy?

Option or Obligation to buy?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think they have triggered a release clause so I guess it’s now an obligation.
Hard to tell with the press these days.
The sooner we get shot of all these loanee leftovers, the better.
Roca is doing well so I don't think we'll make a massive loss on him.
We'll have to take the hit on Rasmus and Aaronson though
Do folk still read newspapers?
This is a great deal for us. Sinisterra injury record PRIOR to coming to Leeds was very poor. He missed 2020 due to cruciate ligament had other injuries at Feyenoord and then simply has never stayed fit since he came to England.
Of course there is always the risk that he stays fit and shows consistent skills that would see him worth more in the future but you can only use the historical data which says this is a sell sell sell situation.
Not just about injuries but also about the man and character. To think he was threatening to sue the club to force a move to maintain his higher wages speaks volumes. Id rather he be in the opposition trenches.
Really hope this goes through today and we can put his name to history books and the club on a better financial footing.
On another note I personally find the attempted comparison between the players we have now and last seasons. Upgrade posts on twitter are becoming increasingly the thing. Folk saying Ampadu is an upgrade on Adams etc. Tyler Adams was a mid-table premier league footballer and exactly the level of player we would need to survive and hopefully prosper from. Impossible to tell how good our players are playing in a massively easier level.
I liked sinisterra a lot but felt we'd never get enough out of him, he'll now be Bournemouth's problem.
How much did we pay for Kristenson and Aaronson?
We need to never see these two again no matter the loss.
Loan Watch
Wober has played most of the season for Gladbach but is currently injured missing the last 3 games. Seems to have some sort of illness/infection of late. Gladbach have the second worst defence in the Bundes this season.
Roca has again played most of the season for Betis but is currently out injured having missed the last 2 games
Aaronson continues to struggle for game time in a side one place above relegation in the Bundes. Barely started a game all season and restricted to short cameos.
Llorente continues to start the majority of games for Roma despite the change in management recently. Crazy to think he is playing in a side 1 point away from champions league qualification.
Rasmus continues to play a lot of football for Roma keeping him in the shop window.
Harrison continues to play every game for Everton. Saw a question posed on Twitter asking whether they should keep him and the answer was a resounding yes from the fans.
Greenwood continues to start for Middlesborough and likely leaves for £1.5m.
Promising news on Gyabi who has started all league games for Plymouth and results have improved. Lets hope Forshaw it helping him develop.
Bate has forced his way into the Mk Dons starting eleven but will be out of contract in the summer and likely to leave on a free.
Mullen has started a couple of games for struggling Inverness.
Poveda one sub appearance so far for Wednesday but likely to move on in summer with contract up.
Confirmed by the club.
Sinisterra has gone!

Sini gone... good riddance. Always injured.
Wanting to sue the club?
No words to describe players like that. Would not pass the filter
Sinisterra had potential to be a decent replacement for Raphinia
But, as we seem to do a lot, we signed a crock and to able to recoup a decent amount of fee is good business.
I was worried if we'd lose him but I'd much rather have the returning Dan James than Sinisterra.
If we do go up in the summer, I really, really, really hope the club tells the Prem flop loans to not come back.

Sin Binned. Very topical.
It seems we took a little less than we agreed at the start of the loan but it means we have got rid of him sooner.
Good bit of business imo.

"great ball, crunching tackle, sensational finish" are the phrases I'd prefer about football... 'a good bit of business' should be heard on silly shows like the apprentice

Jack's the only one I'd want near the club. I thought we sold Llorente ages ago.
Why does Jack Harrison get preferential treatment in regards to coming back? English bias I suppose.
Disappointed in Sini, loved him in a Leeds shirt but clearly a mercenary.

I think Jack just comes across as a nice lad. Yes he triggered the clause but he had every right to.
With the others I think they aren’t wanted back because they were just found wanting when we needed them,
I’d have Adams back if he wasn’t crocked. Sini threatened legal action and didn’t have a release clause as far as I can tell. Stuff him then.
Aaronson I liked but he was a luxury player we couldn’t afford.
Rasmus could have been a legend if he was any good. Loved his attitude but he just wasn’t PL standard.
Llorente had a player in him but the PL was too quick for him.
With Harrison I understand we are in the driving seat now. I read the clause to buy him ran out and any offer must now be agreed with LUFC. If he keeps playing well and Everton stay up then we should fleece them. If they go down then bring him home - whatever league we are in.
