Harrison wouldn't get in our current side imo. He ain't qs good as Cry imo and Willy is looking like the player we originally signed. James has had a cracking season too. Get Harrison back for Anthony perhaps.
I'd personally draw a line under Jack Harrison's time at Leeds whatever scenario occurs at the end of this season and just wish him well and try and get £20 million for him. Let Farke carry on building and developing his new crop of players and leave the past in the past as far as all those summer loan exitees that left for pastures new.
Great player. Definitely had the highest ability of anyone at the club last season. Could prove to be a bargain at that price for Bournemouth.
I do think we could have rolled the dice and held o it for more. But that would have backfired if we don’t get promoted. And also unless a very unlikely bidding war occurred then clubs will always price in the fact that it would be very difficult for him to ever play for us again after what happened.
Left wing is a position we will probably not need an addition to if we go up too. Will be very happy with Summerville and Gnonto as options for that side and focus on adding another right winger to compete with James.
All in all a fair deal for both clubs. Shame it worked out like this cos he is talented but we Summerville is great so it doesn’t matter.
Don’t see why we would want to sign Anthony unless we fail to get promoted and will lose players.
Hopefully we get to offload a few more of the loanees for around what we paid but that’s unlikely at the moment. Probably Roca and that’s it
Brilliant from Poveda.
Unlucky not to get more game time this season given positive signs but our squad is just too good.
Harrison was great for us, but don’t think anyone gains anything by him coming back.
He gave us 4 great years and was a very consistent performer for us. He deserved the move, especially after the club treated him on deadline day, will always remember him well as part of that Bielsa team
I still think of Jack Harrison as a young kid but he isn't, he's 27 and he blows hot and cold, always has done for us at least. He will have weeks when he is amongst the best players at the football club and then weeks when he just isn't the same player. No idea whether he has been the same player at Everton, I suspect he has. You cannot not play him because out of nowhere the unplayable Jack Harrison turns up.
I would always welcome him back at the club but equally agree we have found gold in Summerville this season and wouldn't have seen a role for him with us this year.
Not sure Summerville will remain with us if we go up or not, he is that good so we may need Harrison back.

Absolutely right, best fans, that fiasco last January still leaves a sour aftertaste. I do not blame him for activating the release clause. Do I want him back? No. I think he has peaked, and at best, is a low level Premier league player. I think the bigger question is, would he want to come back after all that has happened? I doubt it.
I think the Harrison situation has the potential of becoming a mess.
He is a long contract with us that expires in 2028, but do Everton have the funds to buy him outright given all that has gone on there of late, I'm not sure.
The alternative is that we keep loaning him to them, like City did to us and we have done with Llorente to Roma but I cannot see that happening with a rival it makes no sense, why would you loan a valuable asset to a rival in the same league, year in/year out.
If he comes back, it's likely to be reluctantly, he has said he his very happy at Everton.
Must be causing some headaches.
Harrison will have a few teams willing to pay for him in the summer. Not worried about him at all. Underrated by a lot of Leeds fans, messed around by the club, and would have no issues with him coming back after his loan. But get the feeling an exit will still make sense for both us and him and his agent will easily be able to find him clubs prepare to pay a decent fee. Just as Leicester were prepared to last January.

He was brilliant last night. We were under the cosh before getting the opener which he created. He was always looking to create and make things happen. Reminded me a little bit of Forestieri. He tired in the second half and had to come off but excited to see what he can bring between now and the end of the season.

Didn’t see it but I’m not surprised. He’s very quick and very direct. In the right team, with a run of games, he will do OK.
This is his level though for sure - at the moment. He was just too far back in the reckoning at Leeds.
Good luck to him. Hopefully he won’t play against us this season.

Why does Jack Harrison get preferential treatment in regards to coming back? English bias I suppose.
Disappointed in Sini, loved him in a Leeds shirt but clearly a mercenary.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think Jack just comes across as a nice lad. Yes he triggered the clause but he had every right to.
With the others I think they aren’t wanted back because they were just found wanting when we needed them,
I’d have Adams back if he wasn’t crocked. Sini threatened legal action and didn’t have a release clause as far as I can tell. Stuff him then.
Aaronson I liked but he was a luxury player we couldn’t afford.
Rasmus could have been a legend if he was any good. Loved his attitude but he just wasn’t PL standard.
Llorente had a player in him but the PL was too quick for him.
With Harrison I understand we are in the driving seat now. I read the clause to buy him ran out and any offer must now be agreed with LUFC. If he keeps playing well and Everton stay up then we should fleece them. If they go down then bring him home - whatever league we are in.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Adams too threatened legal action. Check out the interview between the square ball lads and Kinnear . Kinnear back in September.
He mentioned this and when asked if he would have either player back at the club he said no.

Watching the game and Poveda more closely. He just dooesn’t cover enough grass. I suspect his distance run is pretty low compared to the rest of the league. And with Bielsa, Marsch & Farke that would practically make you ineligible to play.
