Obviously I can't say it without sounding unbiased but I think you're a little lucky to be doing as well as you are. Although Son and Vicario isn't necessarily luck I guess, but it doesn't seem sustainable.

There's 2 reasons for me. One - we're not clinical enough given the number of high-percentage chances created. Two - lacking that consistent reliable number 6. When Bissouma was in good form during the 10 game unbeaten run we looked almost unbeatable. But still weren't scoring enough

Not sure about the first one, Son is insanely clinical when he's on it?

And yeah second one is fair, it's a young midfield that's learning to play with each other for the first time in a new system.

Don't get me wrong, if I were a Spurs fan I'd be excited I just think you've been a bit lucky to be doing so well. Although you do seem to fluff the ones you deserve to win so maybe it evens out.

Son is clinical yeah but he's the only one really, and he's not going to do a Kane with the best will in the world. I'm definitely excited and I think there's a lot to come when the team matures and starts playing this system naturally like Brighton can

Yep we are in still in year one. We have a good manager, speaks clearly to the fans, so everyone can understand his outlook on the game. A bunch of new players. No Kane ect ect

Ange is over performing with all things considered.

Going from Conte.. to actually winning the scrappy games 'we never would have won before', finally having an attacking team, replaced your dummy centre backs with some of the best in the league, young players learning their trade while still winning games, probably the 3rd best attack in the league (behind 2 of the top 5 teams in the world), finally making good signings, richest club in London, a manager everyone wants to play for, Levy appearing reasonable..

To that I would add winning games when not playing particularly well..... supposedly the sign of a good team

If it wasn't for the spate of injuries to key players at the same time and the AFCON and Asia cup you probably would be closer to the top of the league.

I agree, but it gives you a good advantage to press home going forward. Chelsea and Utd are a mess, Liverpool without Klopp and Newcastle are a bit of an unknown. Levy really should back Ange and try to take advantage and consolidate yourselves as a top club (assuming you make CL, which I think you will).

Bentancur did great in the leadup to the goal but generally it was a pretty scrappy game. Werner doing nothing, Richarlison really wasteful in possession though a lot of that was probably down to the Brighton pass. Bissouma looked good when he came on, I think we've missed his tackling and ball retention.

I'm not concerned about the performance but in general, we seem to be struggling for goals. Hopefully Sonny gets in form quick
