Can’t wait for Steve Evans’ assessment of the game
Who on their bench got booked?
A real attritional one, this. Not much to say about the first half when there was only one save needed - a brilliant one at that by Wildsmith. Our balance was all wrong with no urgency and no threat from out wide. It screamed out for Nyambe (who did nothing wrong as such) to come off and for Wilson to move back to WB so he could get forward more out wide. This was done in the second half and with Smith coming on as well we suddenly started to dominate in the middle and have some joy out wide. NML had been relatively quiet but after Smith played a glorious long ball to him out wide on the right he shimmied into the box and teed up Sibs who, well I'm not sure how he did it as the ball flew straight in from his foot.
Bradley was superb throughout and rightly won MOM but next in line was the crowd who were terrific. That sort of backing will be needed every game now. It was all the more creditable as the team had not really given them much to cheer until quite late on.
Maybe we could manage without Collo if we have to but team selection and formation will be crucial.

I've never heard an oppo manager get so much personal abuse! I'm way fatter than him so did feel a bit hypocritical joining in 🤣
Billy Davies would have loved that game. How he believes football should be played. We now have it within our own hands to finish above both Bolton and Portsmouth but we have a game against an in form Barnsley. Every one getting nervous now?
Nervous? Nah - it is what it is 🤣

You are way fatter than Steve Evans? You must cause a significant disruption in space time.

The one save?
Bradley kicked a certain goal off the line too.

Yep! I jump and there's a tsunami.
Apparently that was up there as Warne’s favourite win as Derby boss …
Warne hoping to sign Dwight Gayle and a n other as Collins out til April
Collo out for ‘significant weeks’. Might be back before the end of the season if all goes well.
Hopefully not for the playoffs because we don’t want them.
Speaking after the win over Stevenage this afternoon, Derby head coach Warne said: "I've got a list of two names and I've gone for my first one and all the paperwork has been done and was handed in yesterday.
"The EFL are still working with us in trying to make it happen and hopefully it will. We will continue into the start of next week.
"It is Dwight Gayle, but I've met him and he has a couple of other clubs chasing him. We are doing everything we can to get him in the building. But we still have to follow what the EFL want from us.
"We have done everything we can but hopefully when I go in Monday morning I will get the news that it's all done. At least two other clubs are trying to do the same thing with him. We are in the hands of the EFL."
I meant saves by goalkeepers Scouse.

Wow 397 comments already. Well done Ang and Fin 😉
On to a colossal match next Saturday, Barnsley are a team in great form , 2 defeats in 17 matches.
We definitely need a better shape for that game unless the game plan without a recognised striker is to reduce their attacking threat and stick on an attacker second half.
Hopefully CBT returns from injury and can be on the bench. Beat them and a *9 point gap opens up (* Tykes have a game in hand)
Getting lost in the feeling a little bit as the run of games is narrowing down. The loss of Collins isn't lost on anyone ( bar Spart, perhaps?) given we've dealt with numerous injuries up to this point we just carry on. Hopefully EFL can ratify a deal so that we can sign one of our targets. I didn't hear the interview but understand it's the Padel guy.
