Unbelievable strength in depth u guys have. Diaz, Nunez, jota, salah, gakpo.
Chelssa have obviously had more injuries all season than Liverpool but sadly don’t have that strength in depth. Hopefully nkunku can kick on now. But starting to lose hope on Chukwuemeka (our gem before injury) and fofana (who?).
Positives for us is nkunku and chillwell back, and although still rusty has offered balance but huge still having James out and now silva, Lavia, like fofana, might aswell just be a pipe dream at this stage,
----------------------------------------------------------------------
5 players for 3 positions is not unbelievable depth.
How do you not have the depth after spending the equivalent of the combined valuation of 3 smaller premier league clubs?
Not sure you've had more injuries than us too. Chilwell will be injured again no sooner he's back. Another good but injury prone player.

It’s a huge blow if so, he was in the form of his life, such an innocuous way to get it too, such bad luck.
The entire league is seemingly struggling with injuries, and I feel more should be done to protect the players tbh.
Liverpool have had really bad luck with injuries. I’d say us and Newcastle’s luck has been as bad though. We don’t have the strength in depth Liverpool have.

We had 5 first teamers out the whole season.
Timber, Partey, Tomi, Zinny, ESR
United, Chelsea, Newcastle and Brighton have had it worst with injuries this season.
Not sure if it's my own recency bias, but feels like this season has been pretty injury heavy for all teams in the league? Schedule catching up with everyone perhaps

ESR is not a first team player. Partey was replaced by Rice and had been playing full back due to injuries. Zinchenko has played around 30 games so far this season. Timber yes, it was extremely unfortunate especially for a new player who needs game time to get used to the team and was likely a big part of any new tactical plan the manager had for the new season.
I don't know who Tomi is.

Timber - got injured in the first game so can’t really say he’s a first teamer. I’m not sure he’s better than who is playing now in defence.
Partey - Seemed to be playing at RB or was on the bench when he played but ok I’ll concede him.
Tomi - he’s not a first teamer, seems mainly to be a sub
Zinny - really? A lot of your fans have been pretty critical of him, he seems to be quite error prone
ESR - do me a favour GT. he’s nowhere near the first team
Most of the above have been easily replaceable or just aren’t first teamers. Nothing like the players we’ve lost to injuries at various times this season - Maddison, VDV, Romero, Bentancur etc
