He is on skysports now stating himself he is bewildered how Rashford and Garnacho didn’t score.

Same manager did not sub either of them.

posted on 18/2/24

Maybe if we’d have put that game to bed like we should and not had to sub at HT like we did he may have got some minutes

We still needed a goal irrespective of the subs made at half time. I am afraid I don’t follow this comment,

then I’m afraid ETH is punishing the way he punished Van der Beek for insisting on signing for United when he wanted him to stay in Ajax.

That didn’t happen. Nobody plays Donny because he’s shiiiiiit and always injured.

Unless you can see ghosts, I don’t believe you saw him in a United shirt.

Let the fools carry on mate. I wouldn’t delete it. These are grown men. Nothing short of laughable.

It was deleted by accident. I do believe that Donny was never given a real chance at a time where players like Lingard, who can’t find a place in Saudi Arabia, was starting game after game.

Yeh I don't follow that either. You get 5 subs. Rashford and Garnacho had plenty of opportunities to get on the score sheet and were struggling. Bruno wasted a few good chances too.

Amad deserves a chance to show what he can do. He must be so frustrated right now. Especially having seen Antony get so much playing time this season and do nothing.

Maybe Amad just isn't that good?

I think people underestimate the how big the step up from the Championship to the Premier League is. It is absolutely enormous.

Whilst I agree wasn't given a fair chance, and indeed said so, I now think ETH was right, because he's not doing any better now he's left us.
Chong didn't look great either.

Lingard and Donny were only at the club together for one season. Donny was shiiiiiiit and injured and then went to sit on Everton’s bench. Three managers at United, then a one at Everton and Frankfurt, don’t play him because he’s shiiiiiit. The idea one of them has done it because he has a grudge, rather than the obvious that he’s just shiiiiiiit, is hilarious.

The thing is he didn’t give us any glimpses of being any good when he did get a chance. He spend too much time hiding and not showing for the ball.

I honestly couldn’t tell you what he was any good at.

I believe what I see, mate, and you see what you believe. And that’s the problem with some of our fans. Once they form an idea about a player, they stick to it, because their brain are too narrow to allow any movement, displacement or change inside.

Facking hell, just read the article properly.

Some of our fans are absolutely mental.

Maybe he isn't. But how the feck do you know if he doesn't get a chance? What is the point in sending him on loan, him doing well, then not giving him a chance/reward. You might as well not send him on loan to the Championship if that is going to be the thinking.

His last run out was 30th December when he came off the bench against Forest. He offered more in the 35 minutes or so he was on the pitch than Antony had offered the rest of the game. What has been his reward? To sit on the bench for the next 5 games and not get a single minute of football.

His passing was neat and his reading of the game was quite good. What he needed was an opportunity to rebuild his confidence, something he was never given. I don’t remember having seen him start two games in a row.

You shouldn’t be commenting on people’s brains after writing this:

I'm not claiming to know. But we have a team of backroom staff who's job it is to literally watch him every day in training. There is obviously a reason they are not picking him.

The only other possible reasons is that they are a bunch of clueless idiots who don't know what they are doing. Or they are playing some weird psychological games with Amad like the OP suggests.

52, the manager gave Antony ample chances. Even Garnacho has had numerous stinkers and the manager stuck by him. Amad deserves a chance.
