Enjoy your smirks.
Apparently we’re playing Joe Hart up front next game.
May I suggest you calm down.
We're top of the league and that's to be enjoyed but the grand predictions of recent years have been made to look daft, much like most the Tims early season predictions this time round.
We're top, looking decent but not without our own problems. A lot of football to be played yet and by seeing our fans online you would think we had the title all but secured yesterday.

Iv been saying for months we were not out the race. Said weeks ago we would be top before the old firm, said that team were flat from day 1 in the season, knew they would implode under rodgers, I now think Celtic will drop more points and our run of fixtures is very kind to us up til then.
titles not won at all, but Im making the prediction that we will be 7 points clear come the OF.
We've got two difficult games up next, Hearts then Killie on the astro. Get through them all the points and with Celtic slipping more points then I might feel confident enough to be shouting about winning the league or creating a sizeable gap.
I'm not yet, given we've also got European football to be playing again shortly if they get they perform at anywhere near the levels they can then it should remain very close.
Them falling 7 points behind by that fixture would be a collapse on the scale of the absolute destruction in their 10iar dream season. Rodgers would be out, Lawell would have the fire brigade on speed dial and the Japanese would be phoning Humza to complain about the treatment of sharks.
they are away to Hearts and Motherwell who are playing far better again in their next 3 games.
the way they are playing id be more more surprised if they won them two games than I would be if they didnt.
Im confident we wont have any troubles against any team in the league outwith celtic at home. Only Killie away is the tricky fixture for me.

We are absolutely rank. So easy to play against, and so slow/predictable in our play.
Every right to be cocky about it cos we ain't improving anytime soon.
Its far from over but its hard not to argue that the momentum is very much with us and we are now in the driving seat.
Clement seems like a pretty solid operator who is keeping their feet on the ground and building a good team spirit. I think we probably have as good a chance of doing it as we could of with him in charge. Meanwhile wee Brendan is getting more than a bit tetchy which is nice to see.
Anything can happen though. It can just take a couple of off days for the whole thing to be turned on its head again. Given our luck with injuries I expect the worst to happen!
We still have our three biggest goal threats missing from our forward line in Danilo, Roofe and Sima. This strangely barely seems to warrant a mention compared to other teams missing a couple of players.
If we had an in form out and out goal scorer who could be relied on I would be far more confident. Who knows - maybe Roofe may appear for half a dozen games and do us a turn?
I think we have a great chance of doing it now though. I think our January signings seem to be adding something positive - I think Cortez and Diomande will get better and better as they get up to speed.
If we do go on to win the league this year it will surely be one of the biggest surprises and one of the most satisfying. We got our summer recruitment so badly wrong and we were so bad for the first couple of months of the season.
Not a single Rangers fan leaving the 3-1 loss to Aberdeen would have bet a penny that we would be going into the game against Hearts on 24th Feb looking to go 5 points clear of Celtic.
Really loving this new manager bounce!

Think most are already fed up tbh
I wasn't overly keen to have Rodgers back, but more than willing to give him a chance to prove himself. Started ok but you could see very early on that shiite style of football we played when he was close to leaving the first time around hadn't changed, and in fact had gotten worse.
Can count on one hand the amount of good performances we've had this season, and don't think I could say we've had one outstanding game at all.
January was the chance to get players in who could really drive a change in the team, instead we went for Norwich's 3rd choice striker and whatever Kuhn is
Hatate is still another 4-6 weeks away it seems and by then it'll likely be too late.
Hatate not expected back before the end of March and even when he does return it will take him half a dozen games to get match fit as he's hardly kicked a ball in months.
So how do celtic fans think this will play out?
Does Brendan walk if Rangers win the league?
Does he get given a bigger transfer budget ahead of next season if Celtic win it?

We’ve also got midweek games, including European games most weeks for next month. Celtic don’t have the same number of games. Clement seems to be doing well with rotation and keeping everyone sharp though, and injury list isn’t too bad at this point.
We’re also bound to simply have a bad result or two at some point. Some fans were a joke last Wednesday when they were unhappy we didn’t go top - there’s a lot of football to be played.

You started the season with Beale. Although most of you couldn't see it, he was clearly a dud as has been shown by recent events. Had you kept him Celtic would have won the league.
Nothing daft about it. It was the only likely outcome based on the facts available at the time.
And if Rangers fans want to make positive productions not sure why you would stop them.
I'll let you into a secret. If you make a prediction on here and get it wrong, nothing happens unless you're a big Jessie who can dish it out but not take it back.

Sure looks daft now.
There was a lot of bravado following the Rodgers appointment.
Made the comment that was a better manager and I was happy that you didn’t have Ange anyway, and folk were acting like it was a wild claim…
That Ange was a better manager even, but you’d be better off right now with an empty void and just Kennedy

They weren't daft.

There was a lot of bravado following the Rodgers appointment.
Made the comment that was a better manager and I was happy that you didn’t have Ange anyway, and folk were acting like it was a wild claim…

That Ange was a better manager even, but you’d be better off right now with an empty void and just Kennedy
