This is a stupid argument but both ourselves and Southampton have our destinies in our own hands mathematically.

If we win all our remaining 11 fixtures (not going to happen) we finish on 102 points. 69 plus 33.
If however Southampton win their remaining 11 fixtures they finish on 100 points, 67 plus 33, but we would finish on 99 points.

I think people have got so carried away with our recent success that they forget, it's mid February, still well over two months to go.

Only 2 months ago we were drawing home to Coventry and losing away to Preston and West Brom. Fielding virtually the same side. A bit of tinkering with formation and a few players stepping up on performance and here we are a transformed team. There is no doubt Daniel Farke is very very good at his job!

I wonder whether injuries have played a part and forced his hand here.

Would he be playing Ampadu at Centre back if Struik wasn't sidelined
Would we sill be just seeing odd glimpses of Gruev if Ampadu hadn't been pushed back to CB.
Would we be seeing Firpo blossoming if Byram had proved more reliable. Firpo makes more sense because he doesn't have to keep cutting back inside but would we have seen that.
Gnonto is inspired and has grabbed his opportunity but I wonder whether we would have seen that had James not got injured.
The line up works as it is now, the best 11 have evolved. Maybe they always do.

Regardless of the maths, I've always thought it was in our hands... best squad or one of, for me it was all about if Farke was good enough to get the best of the squad with tactics and subs.... that does look like the case now.... its so unrealistic to suggest any of the top 4 wouldn't wobble at this stage.

just crazy talk.... tho at this stage, you really do have label some games as must win.

but you see my point, Southampton and Leicester two very poor results for them, recently - almost out of the blue.

now Ipswich, a lot had written off a few weeks ago, they are back in the fold again.

always in Leeds' hands... and now probably all must wins, be some pressure on all teams, us included. So lets hold it together and finish the job

My therory is

Its getting close, people are getting nervous so trying temper expectations incase we dont go up.

The other group, and we all know who they are.

Are desperately trying to do us down, because they have got it so wrong this season, about size of squad, quality of squad etc ect.

Makes them feel better.

Wait till we lose a game, they will all bw out of the woodworm, trying to justify their wrong opinions.

Injuries and jetlag or whatever you want to call it, it should be said that at this stage the others will be having the same problems, so, we keep going as we are and we should be alright!..

Ok, how about this then … we beat Leicester, we’re going up as Champions😁.

Pretty sure there are lots of twists and turns in the 13 games that all the teams have still got to play.
Don't want it to come down to that last game against Southampton but I am sure they wont either. That would be a very nervy affair.
Just need to temper not getting carried away.
