Sadly we are...as I said too many players like on Saturday didn't show up [again]...once Smith went off we had nobody in midfield... surely Tommo or Fornah would've been better options as Charlton bossed midfield 2nd half...

Nyambe injury makes it even worse.

I know we're still second (as it stands with Bolton currently losing), but the football is enough to make your eyes bleed.

And Nathan Jones celebrated like he’d just won the league

I reckon we shaded the first half and while we did play a bit of good stuff there was nothing outstanding about it. But C were better than us in the second half. I lost count of the times we gave the ball away with hopeful punts upfield. How many shots did their goalie have to save? One, maybe two. So disappointing and things need a huge improvement if we are to make the automatics.

Wildsmith gave away a needless and rash penalty for their first and there was some bad defending for the second. Who played well? Cashin was MOM and Adams, Nelson and Smith were good as was Nyambe til his injury (could be a big loss there). Bird did not react very well to being shackled and looked slow today. Gayle is clearly a very clever player and did quite well all things considered but too many were edgy and careless in possession.

Winning cups for Liverpool

Not trying to be negative Nancy but the people in charge are clueless. We knew before December that if anything happened to Collins we were fvcked. We spend presumably December and January talking to clubs and strikers and we get no striker in. In fact, we let Brown go to Gateshead. I’ve already said that whilst Brown may not be the answer (and Warne has come out and said he’s not up for the task) but other clubs play their young players but we don’t. I make no bones about it, I think Warne is out of his depth and we will not get promotion this season.

Florida, with respect, this has been your mantra all season. We are third for goodness sake. Could be better but we aren't out of it yet, although I hate playoffs.

Don't ever apply for a job as a motivational speaker!

Klopp put on 2 teenage players towards the end of a cup final going into extra time on Sunday. Thats called having faith in your younger players.

Florida - it's not about the quality of football though. We are a league 1 club playing league 1 football. It's about results. Tonight was disappointing ... very disappointing in fact.

But we are still 2nd and should get into the playoffs at least.

Warne has a proven track record in getting out of L1. Thats why he was brought in.

And that’s why Rotherham were relegated. Are you seriously telling me our wage budget is less than Pompey, Bolton, Barnsley or Peterborough?

Whether we win, draw or lose, there is never any semblance of ‘control’ - we never seem to be in control and just seem to lurch to wins, accidentally lose or unfortunately concede a last minute equaliser.

Where is the control and confidence?
