The longer the spotlight is on the refs the better.
It's no the manager, it's the refs, look over here.
Get through in the cup, give him some relief. Then when your not looking bang. Livi 1-0 Celtic away in the league.
Boooft maybe it was the manager.
Too late, title decider at Ibrox next week, can't sack him yet he's got a great record against Rangers.
Boot in the balls from Big Phil.
Then all the dafty KTF timmies will be like, it's fooking Rodgers, I always hated the rat bastirt.
Do what you want by that then, you would need to win every game from there and still might not be able to stop us.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Whilst it matters, nothing changes if he loses in the cup - the board will give him the season especially if the gap remains as is.
As for your following nonsense you know fine well for both sets of fans it is all or nothing - replace KTF with WATP but the gnashing will be same on your side if we win at Ibrox.
Clement is under no threat of getting sacked though, fans won't be turning on him if we don't win the league.
He's taken us to the top of the league after Celtic had won the title in September.
We will be gutted but the improvement is clear as day with Beale's pretty schite squad. We're going forward, Celtic going backwards with the men in charge.

Great, he has pole position and of course he will get to start next year even if Celtic win the double - whoop de doop. Just as Rodgers will be given the rest of the season and possibly the start of next even if he wins fack all. Our board have previous for sitting it out. But don't kid yourself, if you don't win the league and a gap opens up by Sept next season he will probably be gone too. It is just the way I said - all or nothing.
As for winning the title in Sept - the only tims on here I saw go down that line were those doing so from a reasoned, fundamental resources on top of gap perspective - I didn't see any triumphalism. Plenty bears chucking the towel right enough. But then Clement was not appointed until mid-Oct and since then we've had a transfer window and a swing in the league - stuff that happens, you know!
Not even the Celtic board would have the brass neck to let Rodgers take another season if he ended up pot less this season.

You think? FWIW I think we are seeing a repeat Lawwell / Rodgers power struggle. Lawwell will still be bristling from being ousted once before but ultimately, he holds more power taking joy out of revenge on BR whilst feeding DD the same 'we tried' scheite he feeds the fans.
Lawwell is permanent being DD's placeman. BR is transient. ONly one winner and plenty losers. Why the latter agreed to return is a complete mystery unless he himself believes he's a busted flush in the managerial marketplace.
Would be fun if that transpired, I can only imagine the levels of sourness from the Celtic support going into next season in that scenario.
FWIW I think for now any Celtic manager that gets beaten to the title by Rangers given the imagined and
genuine differences in financial power will be given the boot.
I say imagined as the gulf is supposedly so great but not sure the reality of money going into the clubs and not held in a rainy day pot will be altogether that different.

Celtic were left hanging on at the end against ten men. Thats a very clear improvement. Never mind the blindingly obvious improvement in our play and results in comparison to start of season. Including European turnaround.
Clement has improved Rangers. Rodgers has weakened Celtic.
Cant imagine the meltdown if it was Celtic who lost and hadn’t got a penalty for a Rangers player punching the ball out of play in the box.

What it does is explain why a decision is made. Bottom line is that pretty much all of these contentious decisions are the referees interpretation, “ably” assisted by the VAR panel.
