Hearts v Celtic - LIVE!

They are released-every 11 games. And a club can ask to hear a recording whenever they want.

Rangers only wanted the audio released publicly for 1 specific incident in 1 specific game. That was never going to happen.

Celtic are losing the plot here.

They lost the game. Deal with it. Neither side deserved a penalty. Celtic missed, Hearts didn’t. Tough.

By the letter of the law (which Celtic benefitted from against St Mirren and Rodgers insisted it was the right decision) Yang’s red card was correct.

What a circus.

ok, thats not what Im on about.

Like I said if the audio for VAR was available for everyone, then you and I would be able to judge for ourselves, just like the club and the SFA can , and no one can hide.

Why wouldnt you want to hear the conversations? thats one of the things we asked for, for the public to hear the conversations and let everyone make up their own mind rather than he , she said nonsense.

Then we would know who decided what, rather than just guess.

Best for all parties.

Ridiculous in this day and age we have these cretins start to influence who can play without fear and who can’t.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Don't want to get in to politics and aware people will think I'm at the WUM but completely agree with this. I'm amazed Celtic have allowed them to dictate this situation and showed such little backing to the player. In this day and age its a horrible thing to see.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I think to be fair to the club here, they’ve provided him with unparalleled levels of support. It just became untenable with these morons who decide they are our voice.

why wouldnt any fan on here not want to hear the conversations.

we all know why the refs and the SFA wouldnt, but for what reason wouldnt the fans want it available?

"The guy's not meaning to do it, but of course if you're taking a stud in the eye, it's dangerous play. It was clearly a red card. I don't think there was much doubt over why they were waiting (on the VAR decision). Clearly, we could see it on the screen here. We were kept fully aware, so unfortunate for St Mirren, but the right decision was the outcome"

----------------------------------------------------------------------

No doubt about that, but none of that support was public. That's probably what will hurt the player more. The club could have condemned it and highlighted the position one of their players were in and reinforced their messaging as a club about being open to all.

I might have missed that and if so apologies but to the best of my knowledge they never did.

It's genuinely pretty shocking that in this day and age a player has had to leave a club for what is essentially indirect discrimination.

That was an add on at one of the latter statements.

I’d like to hear the audio for all VAR decisions, but it’s not the norm and I think IFAB are against it as well as the main governing bodies, so why you think it would make a difference for other teams to have said ‘yeah-you go rangers!’ would have made a difference is beyond me.

Let’s be adults here-rangers only added that in to make their original demand look better. It wasn’t done for the good of Scottish football.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

That's him supporting his player though, that's not the same as the club denouncing those who made his position at the club untenable. In all honesty as well I didn't see Rodgers condemn the support for it even if he spoke about having sympathy for the player.

I actually thought Rodgers was pretty weak on it tbh. Spoke a lot about it being a complicated situation and having sympathy for him. I didn't ever see him calling on the support to cut it out.

Put it this way, if a Rangers catholic player felt he couldn't play for the club because of songs and actions from the stands that made him feel unwelcome I'd fully expect Clement and the club to have a strong statement on it rather than saying it was complicated and he had sympathy for the player's situation.

So, to sum up yesterdays game, all decisions were soft but consistent. So now we are criticizing consistency in refs decisions

More was done by manager and player and I think we as a support are sick fed up of the GB and their antics. It’s been highlighted by the club many times and they’ve had bans more times that I care to remember.
