Really liking the resilience we show now. Weathered a bit of a storm from them first 20 mins, corners and free kicks but then found our feet. Much better after HT. They got a bit of joy after 70 mins but we still looked to be in control and could have scored again.

Felt worried before the game because they’d won 4 in 5, Yorkshire derby away from home.

We’ve won 11 in 12, barely conceded in goal in that time, we shouldn’t have been worrying about anything.

We seemd to be fine, once we got the goal it seemed like we were ever really in danger of losing once we went ahead.

I will point out that the comments about Bamford before compared to after the goal are laughable.

Another game won against a team fighting relegation. If only we could have got the win at Huddersfield - but they kicked our players off the park and the ref didn’t stop it. Fingers crossed that results go for us tomorrow now. Nice to be in 2nd again if only for a few hours.

Sloppy if you read this thread you'll see until we scored your boys made it extremely uncomfortable for Leeds and I was very impressed with the way Wednesday stuck at it played football not hoofball and I think if you'd had this new manager you've got now at the beginning of the season you'd be challenging for the play-offs

I think you have an excellent chance of staying up and despite losing tonight you should take a lot of positives
and we'll try and do you a favour by beating Millwall,
Blackburn and QPR in the coming weeks and I hope your boys can do us a favour next week at Ipswich.

Macca is appreciate the comment. I've just posted on the Jonty thoughts thread as I didn't see this until after. I thought Leeds quality shone through in the end but it was a good game and Wednesday will definitely take some positives from it
