Just counted and there are 715 seats left for Saturday v Bolton
30k plus then! I'll be there. đ
Whilst I agree we did deserve to win...it was almost as if the REF wanted to atone for his awful previous decisions against us....
I also thought that it WAS a penalty last night...when a goalie comes out like that and smashes into a player [Gayle] it gives the REF a decision to make. Whilst I agree with the goalie that there was hand/arm contact with the ball I feel it was caused by his collision with Gayle. Wildsmith as we know has also had similar rushes of blood to his head at times...anyway...we owe Bolton a beating on Saturday after their win against us in September.
Finally I think much of our success in the last 3 games has been down to my new "Lucky Rams Shirt" which I've worn during the games. 8 goals scored during that time and only 1 conceded...can't argue against that can you....UTR
Terry, it's not your shirt, it's all down to Heb's lucky plus fours.

I was going to take them off as it's spring but will now delay until the end of the season just in case!

Have you tried drinking and driving Fin, what happens if he spills some?
It's my white first team shirt that is the curse. The lucky ones are the two black 2nd and 3rd shirts.
No it’s because I am abroad again. We haven’t lost this season in the 4 weeks I have been away so contribute quickly to the Spart holiday fund as I am due back on Friday. Saturday is our most important fixture of this season so far so do your duty. It will be your fault if you don’t and we lose.
Average points since 1995/6 season to win L1 is 93.4 or 87.0 to go up automatically.
Since the restructuring into League One in 2004, 76 teams have spent at least one season in the division, including 7 of the 20 teams in the 2023–24 Premier League
For all of the reservations about some of the tactics we do seem to be hitting form at the right time. There is more of a belief now in the players to me though I still feel we look too nervous defending a lead. I reckon that if we beat Bolton we go up and if we don't we still might go up. A win on Saturday would be spectacularly good for confidence. A fit Fozzy would be fantastic, well though Sibley has done. Fozzy exudes calm. We have a great opportunity here so let's seize it.
Agreed Vidal. Whilst nothing will be decided on Saturday, a win would give us a huge boost.
I'd probably stick with Sibley over Fozzy of we play 3 at the back. He offers more going forward. But I'm glad to see Fozzy back on the grass.
Yeah. In a back four Fozzy and a fit Nymambe looks super solid. I like Bradley but he makes me nervous, as does Wildsmith at the moment come to that. Ward is brilliant as a wing back. Sibley is different but he always looks as though he might ping in a goal as he should have done last night.
It's amazing that we're almost 40 games into a season, in 2nd place but don't know whether 442 or 352 is our best formation!
That's not a criticism of Warne, but a reflection of the impact of injuries to full backs and lack of consistency with wing backs. Plus Bradley's poor start in a Derby shirt (much improved recently!)
I think 352 is Warnes preferred style but I'm not sure!

Yeah, my lucky Rams Shirt is the 2nd black. Twas a present at Christmas from Mrs H... Spart, can you postpone coming back til after Saturday please....
HALF-TIME
Peterborough 1-0 Stevenage
Stevenage have been much the better side - albeit without creating a clear cut chance.
But it's Peterborough who lead with a goal from absolutely nothing thanks to Harrison Burrows' penalty.
Another home game and yet another goal for Posh.
Just watched brief highlights of Bolton V Oxford. Two of B's goals were flukes, two were excellent and the fifth should probably have been saved. What I would say is that B moved the ball around very quickly.
It would be interesting to know what team PW would pick if all his squad was available. Defensively we look much more secure with a back four but that presumes Nyambe is fit. In his absence then the back three has lately worked well with Ward and Sibs as WBs. I suspect PW will stick with this system for the remaining games except that Fozzie or Elder could replace Sibs. PW could prefer F away and E at home or he may stick with Sibs who is more likely to get a goal or two.
Personally I would prefer Smith over Hourihane in midfield although H did well agin Reading.
Hourihane and Bird is beginning to look like a poor mans Gerrard and Lampard conundrum for England.
