Poch in for me, although I think we're in the minority!
Whilst mid table is disappointing, I do think we've shown progress this season. We were in relegation form in the 2nd half of last season, so it was always going to take some time to turn it around of which I think Poch has done to a decent extent. I think some of the negativity around his in-game tactics is justified, however we do lack leadership/experience/know how on the pitch to safely see games out.
That said, I genuinely think we have a good squad and a foundation by which to grow on. A couple of key signings (if we can afford) would elevate us immensely imo, such as a 20+ goal striker.
Probably the biggest question for me is whether Poch is truly 'a winner' as opposed to just a very good manager. I have some doubts, but given our position now I'm happy to stick
Imo, it really depends on how the squad performs over the remainder of the season.
Im not at all bothered where we finish, im more concerned how the team plays, competes and comes together , importantly we can see the emergence of the spine of the team.
But to be honest im overly impressed with the progression of individual players and the squad as a cohesive unit.
Hopefully this will change over the what is left of the season.

I'm not actively Poch out because yeah I think our issues go far beyond the manager, but I wouldn't shed a tear if he was removed.
There are reports that Chelsea have failed in an approach for Girona coach Michel to replace Poch.
Flash - nice to see you back on here
I have been quite critical of Poch.... Frankly I've seen little to deter me from that thought
Getting rid of him now serves absolutely no purpose though
And following on from that who do we actually get in that we can afford or that can do the job
Following on,
As Flash & JW have flagged sacking Poch comes with clear issues.
Who is out there of any real calibre who will be able & prepared to come to CFC and work with the ownerships current strategy?
I think this is a significant problem.
Can the club afford to continue to develop the squad and pay out Poch & his backroom staff simultaneously ??
These are real questions that will influence the decision making.
I worry that the ownership will make another knee jerk decision and further dig the whole they have put the club in deeper, by bringing another manager who is even less able than Poch & his back room team.
But Poch imo must start show that he is coaching these players in away that shows progression, individually and as a cohesive unit, for him to justify his position.
I think it's fair to say that we have potential coming out of our ears...what we actually need is a genuine goal threat (Jackson might be that) Nkunku as well.
The never ending saga of injuries is MASSIVE as these crocked players are getting more & more isolated from day to day training..Fofana & Lavia have barely featured this season.
Poch needs to up his game during games too....far too reactive at times...& not nearly animated enough at times either...this translates to players..ok maybe not quite the absolute fit that Tuchel was prone to having..that's too far...but more than current i'd say

G'day Frankie, yeah it's been a little while. It's just felt like our fanbase has been fairly toxic on Social Media, so I took myself away from it.
How's thee? I've fallen in love with a Steam Deck (nostalgia phase ongoing) and have discovered a website that has some of my favourite comics and annuals available in digital downloads.
Are you Poch in or out?
Good to hear it Flash. Don't blame you at all re social media. Toxic is about right. Never tried a Steam Deck, sounds fun.
I don't really have much of an opinion on Poch because our problems are so much bigger than the head coach. Unless the owners start to get things right with recruitment as well as our constant ridiculous injuries then any manager will have little bearing I fear.
Will sacking Poch improve any of those deep lying problems ? No. Is Poch the right man for us? We're such a mess it's difficult to know. I do know that things can get worse though if the club don't start operating properly.
When I hear rumours about the likes of Eddie Howe coming in I do get very concerned.
The players seem to trust Poch so he should be allowed to continue his work with the squad - I reckon for another season, and after that get someone else in to turbo-charge what should be a settled team.
Although MP's tactics/game management skills are very questionable, I think the team can eventually develop its own mentality - they generally seem to fight for each other, and seem to have the characteristics of a leader in the 'Rudiger-ish' Disasi.
All the pessimism isn't helpful - yes clearly there are some issues, but generally it's not so bad I think. There are plenty of of good signs, so let's get behind 'the project' and invest in some uplifting optimism for a change.
