Personally I think Ange is doing very well. Considering levy sold our greatest player a few days before the season started and the fess pit of a club he allowed it to become, the change under Ange is nothing short of a marvel.
We’re playing attacking football again with a likeable team and no one seemingly talking like they’re better than being at spurs.
Let’s be honest, it’s just nice to have a manager for a full season, we haven’t had that for five years.
I’ll judge Ange at the end of next season, if he’s still here.
That piece by Deki is a great read.
I like it when people can see the human side of players. They are so often treated or referred to as some sort of object or machine.
It is fascinating to see how things work and really encouraging to hear that he thinks the dressing room is a wonderful place, all together.
And for sizzle, here's teh bit of context you conveniently missed:
"Let me be clear: We want to win. We are fighting so hard to give you the trophies you deserve. We train for you, we eat for you, we sleep for you. We know that this club changes lives. It’s a huge deal to me when I see people wearing my shirt, because that means we connect on some level. And I still find it incredible that I can simply score a goal and send 60,000 people home happy."
As a fan, all i can ask is that players give their all and show their quality. Now that, ultimately, may not be good enough to win stuff but that is all we can expect from the players and the coach and as Deki says, they are doing everything they can to achieve success.

He is absolutely doing fine, but I think we can make a judgement at the end of THIS season, depending on where we finish.
4th - great season
5th - decent/acceptable
6th or lower - poor.
It's very good wumming tbf. I don't get why, but it is what it is I suppose

4th - No one gave us a chance of this in August
5th - Possible if we hit the ground running and some others tripped up
6th - Probably the best fans could have realistically hoped for before the season started
The fact we could be on target for a points total which will likely be our 2nd or 3rd best in our premier league history should point to how well we have performed given the massive changes and hurdles this season, and whether that's 6th 5th or better does not really change the fact that we will have performed at a high level

“Nobody gave us a chance” who cares? We’ve given ourselves a chance, so let’s try and take it.
I just don’t get Devon’s mentality at all.
I don't get granola. What it is for?

What can I say, I just preferred it when we were playing in the Champions League and actually competing for silverware.
Silly old me.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Just had a quick look back.
You made the League Cup final in Poch's first season, but you finished 5th in the league on 64 points (minus 5 on the previous season).
Your current projection would have you finishing on 75 (plus 15 on last season), so I'd be curious to know what you were saying about Poch back in early 2015.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So already playing in finals….
Don’t think you thought that one through did you?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You only played lower league teams and a relegation struggler. What's the big deal?

Point is, Poch's maiden season also had its ups n downs, so why are you wilfully misinterpreting Ange on a comment you've taken totally out of context? It's like you have an agenda against him on the sole basis he hasn't played lower league opponents to reach a minor cup final. It's a feeble arguing. Maybe have a go when the team fails to make progress, not while they're still trying to hammer out an attacking side after years of failing with negative football.
