Garnacho Hojlund Rashford Antony

Would terrorise many with the correct support.

Going by YouTube montages, I reckon we should give this Sancho guy another chance!

Stunning footwork and agility on show here. A real generational talent with crazy composure and a lazy eye for goal.

So we are the problem? Whose support do you think would help them terrorise many? Crystal Palace's?

Just as well. He isn’t a footballer. He just isn’t good enough to overcome being so one footed.

Not seen many empathise with this kid.

Considering the 'tough personal dilemmas' you mentioned are 3 separate women accusing him of assault I'm not surprised

He is woeful!

Move on.

Hate to say it because we’ve all heard the audio but:

Garnacho Hojlund Greenwood

Now THAT would terrorise

Rashford is way too inconsistent. During his time (nearly ten years now) our team has been gash and for that I give him leeway but even still he’s blown cold way more than hot. He wouldn’t get into City/Liverpool nor our title-winning sides of old. The other three, however, I genuinely think all three (who also haven’t played in good United sides) would be top performers in those sides and would challenge for places.

Hojlund as an understudy to Haaland or straight into the Liverpool team as CF

Garnacho as an option for the future against Grealish/Foden (on paper now he wouldn’t oust either but put him in City’s team and you watch) and Liverpool I think would get in sooner and be devastating

Greenwood - for city I think he could stake a claim quite quickly due to his deadliness in front of goal and two footedness for Liverpool he wouldn’t keep Salah out of the team but his days are limited

This is only my opinion of course but I couldn’t say the same for any others in our squad apart from maybe Shaw (subject to fitness) and Martinez (also subject to fitness)

Sad state of affairs, hence our league position. ETH isn’t perfect, no-one is, but our first XI, let alone squad is nowhere near elite. The days of someone like Fergie winning a league with the likes of Anderson, Cleverley, Evans et al are long gone. Even Pep or Klopp couldn’t do what Fergie did now; the levels are too high.

As for Antony - fine he is no doubt better than he has shown for us but we can only go off that really and he’s too limited and the biggest detriment; predictable. Robben was similar but he delivered, Antony isn’t at all. If an offer was made at £40m or above for him, I’d sell him. If not, I’ll give him one more season to prove me wrong but that’s it. As it happens, the best competition we have for him is Nacho on the right and Hojlund centre and Rashy left. That’s never gonna be enough for us to return to the top and competing.

We need Nacho Hojlund Greenwood (or someone as productive which isn’t Antony)

It's an unpopular opinion for good reason. Elanga is better than him. ๐Ÿ‘

I think he does have potential. Tactically he is strong, off the ball he has good work rate, technically he’s pretty strong, I think he has big limitations physically and he is too predictable.

Maybe with good coaching in a more fluid system he could succeed, but I wouldn’t bank on it.

posted on 16/3/24

He isn’t pretty strong technically. He s totally one dimensional. His shooting is poor, his crossing doesn’t happen and he can not beat a defender very often.

And he has worse decision making than Rashers.

As usual I have no idea what Busby watches.

Many, many footballers are equally 1 footed.

As long as ETH is at the helm, Antony will get his chance. We have been unlucky with injuries, as have others.

"I know from the past he is unstoppable, no defender can stop him because he's one of the quickest in the first 10 yards, when he plays that game I'm sure he will perform, he is resilient, he is a character," Ten Hag told a press conference on Tuesday

Total nonsense.

Let me guess, you made your mind up about Antony a long time ago and insist you were right, right?
