Yes OPTA rate us above half a chance 55 is bigger than 50 Knobbing. Villa less than half a chance - 41 is less than 50 knobbing. So why is it a massive leap for me to think we will get 4th but not OPTA?

Yeah I expected that was the case after the Villa park massacre.

And this is why that game was so much more important, we genuinely gained on Villa in many senses - if we’d lost we would have gone 8 points behind and it would have been curtains. Instead our fate is still in our own hands, even after the loss at Fulham
