Don't forget Rashford too
It's almost as if certain executives or a marketing team have made it clear that a select few players must start every match
We had the most possession yesterday and still conceded 31 shots. 😂
It's not Bruno and Rashford who are the main problem. They are playing very poor, true, but the system we are
playing in ensuring they are. That's the biggest issue. We play in a way that highlights all our weaknesses.
Time for the Erik in brigade to wake up and see sense.
One of our best players. Far bigger issues need fixing.
Don't worry about going to Chelsea, you'll get at least two goals there, everyone else seems too !
Forget that, McT has somehow become unstoppable too and never actually kicks the ball during 90 minutes
*undroppable. He certainly isn't unstoppable

To change the system we need to move away from 4-2-3-1 and play with three midfield players. And Bruno is the one who needs to make way.

True. In fact didn't the bald fraud essentially say that Bruno and Rashford will start every match no matter what?
I'd be happy to see a change in formation VC. 👍
Wouldn't mind us going for a 352 manager and trying that. 4231 has become so stale and boring.

During the last three years, everything around Rashford and Bruno has changed: the strikers, the wingers, the midfielders, the defenders, the manager, the coaching stuff. Everything. And yet, we still play the same way. So it’s time for our fans to open their eyes. In a competitive league like the EPL, you can’t have two unreliable players who give the ball away systematically to the opponent. It’s like playing against a team of twelve players. That’s why we get dominated by all the time. The fact that ETH can’t drop these two players means one thing: he needs to go.
So it’s time for our fans to open their eyes.

When Rashford is just going through the motions like he does 90% of the time , we might as well play with 10 men.
Add to that Bruno giving the ball away for fun like he always does means that at times we literally play with 9 men when these two guys are on the pitch.
But the manager can't drop them

Genuinely forgot mct played yesterday. How many touches did he have?;
So many reasons/excuses as to why we should ignore a "world class" midfielder unable to pass 5 yards at a reliable level. Or beat a man you are faster than and apparently more talented than.
And those saying that we have more issues should understand that if the defence works hard to prevent chances only to have the ball lost almost immediately and come back to your 18 yard box every facking time means you think they a both not related. You are deluded.

Totally agree. The midfield is currently a joke.
Some people "just can't see the wood for the trees".
Usually a by-product of stupidity.
Why "drop" the player that is both statistically and visibly the most effective player in the squad.
Note the absence of a question mark.
Granted he shouldn't be, but it's hardly his fault that he is.
That'll be down to quite a few, very, ordinary squad players around him.
Credit to him for standing out, but he has little current competition.
Still ...
... not really expecting too many of the dullards to stop ranting on too negatively (and sometimes too positively) about the wrong players.

Bruno statistically is one thing. Watching the games is another. Whilst creative players like him are rightfully given a free pass when losing the ball in the opposition third when trying to create a chance; Bruno loses it far too easily when making simple passes also.
I agree that he’s not the top of the list of things that need changing but our midfield, of which he is part of (albeit CAM), is terrible.
But playing McT & Mainoo is the bigger problem. Scott had 23 passes completed yesterday in 90 mins. That’s less passes than the opposition had shots. He Laos made one tackle. So what is he doing in midfield?
We desperately need an Owen Hargreaves type of midfielder to compliment Mainoo and support Bruno.
Opposition having loads of shots on goal almost invariably means you have a weak midfield and Mainoo & Scott effectively as a midfield two is exactly that, weak.

But the issue is that they’re still more reliable from a creative and goal scoring perspective than most of the others, which is why set up to get the best from them. Do you not think that he needs to change their play to also match the other players around them? I’m thinking Hojlund specifically. All of them ignored him for the most part and just tried to score themselves pretty much for most of this season until the last 6 games say but then yesterday reverted back to type again.
That’s a decision making issue, and Hojlund doesn’t make good runs either. But you can look at Hojlund as well and he’s a player that seems to look better in transition than anything else. The way we set up to play in attack is because of these players, it’s what they know and how they’ve best performed. But the issues with Bruno and Rashford are more than just their playing styles, it’s their attitudes.
