Just laughing at the panic some people have running through their veins. No chance Cooper comes or GON goes this summer.

As if Wolves haven’t had enough injury problems with forwards recently, the U21s lost Noah Lemina to injury last night and it looked like another hamstring issue

In just under 2 weeks time we play Arsenal. 2 weeks after that we play Man City, and then another 2 weeks on we play Liverpool in our final game. Not too many points there I guess.

Luckily, next we have Forest and then in between those games above we have Bournemouth, Luton and Palace.

Interesting run in. Hope none of our players are already on the beach.

Don’t think this group under GON will be on the beach but we could do with getting back to having most of the players fit. Seems like the small squad is feeling the strain. Feels like next week when we play Arsenal, Bournemouth and Luton at home will be key to sending everyone, players, management and fans, off to the summer break feeling positive about next season, and to crown a better than expected 23/24

Can't believe we didn't secure him. Nuno made mistakes, not using Vitinha more was absolutely one of them.

Just logged on to make that point, he played 19 games for us and 61 and counting for PSG , 0-0 at the moment

Just watching that PSG v Barcelona match which is a fabulous game. Really impressed with Vitinha who is a busy midfielder who likes to drive forward and a consistently good passer of the ball. He’s just scored to put PSG 2-1 ahead

Barca won 3-2. If the 2nd leg is half as good it would be worth watching.

Wolves had the option to sign Vitinha for £20m but they decided against it and he went back to Porto and helped them win the league. Then he signed for PSG for £40m. Sure he’d be worth a fair bit more than that now

Remember saying at the time that we'd regret not signing him. He had obvious quality, but we always played him out of position.

He didn't want to join anyway. Obviously due to be largely ignored. Can't remember if that was the summer Nuno left though or that was a year later.

Summer he left I think.

Still looks a bit silly sulky doesn't he Vitinha? Clearly wasn't just having to live in Wolverhampton during a global pandemic that gave him a permascowl. Or perhaps he's just never quite shaken that off?

Tonight at Molineux is the U17s PL Cup Final v Chelsea. The game will be shown on Wolves tv from 19:00

The U18s this week beat Man City to move up to third in their league. The table at the moment reads;
Man Utd
Man City
Wolves
Liverpool

The academy must be doing something right for us to be competing with those clubs
