I don't mean to slaughter Bamford but his body language against Hull and by the sound of the commentary I'm listening to today he just seems to be unable to handle the pressure with simple chances going begging I don't think Farke can wait too long to get Joseph on in his place and give us a much needed spark upfront.

So we play with 10 men most weeks then. If Bamford is a passenger, atleast try an utilise the pace and energy in the of Joseph, instead of Bamford being a spectator.

Wasn’t a Bamford type of game, nothing to press and chase down. He’s too slow to run in behind and should have been subbed at HT, or very shortly after.

Just typical Leeds making life difficult for itself !!! And typical Leicester win with 3 mins left...

Huge pressure on us now

If Ipswich had won, well it would be a very very bad day at the office. We need regrouping.

First loss of the year but we're somehow bottlers. You can have opinions but this is just crazy.

Way I see it, we were never going to go unbeaten between now and end of the season, just doesn’t happen. We were always going to lose a game, and I’d rather it now than with a game to go. It’s 1 defeat in 16, no point wetting the bed now with 5 games to go.

We have Sunderland, Blackburn, Boro and QPR. 9 points out of 12 and I think we go into that final game of the season knowing a win takes us up.

Ipswich have Watford, Boro, Hull and Coventry. They won’t get 4 wins from that

Like your optimism Best Fans, and you might be right - by the way Lowfields has ordered Champagne for his evening's dinner...!!

I know you like to defend PB Stoopo but I can't excuse his glaring misses for a player of his experience so when he does get service he wastes it shockingly and you only have to see the difference in tempo that Joseph makes when he comes on to the pitch... No for me he needs to be benched against Sunderland and it's time to give Joseph the number 9 shirt and see if he can handle the pressure.

Yeah agree. Haven't lost since boxing day lol. Even Man C and Liverpool slip up occasionally.

And, as usual, Farke left it too late before making subs. We’ve been here before with Bamford - he seems to bewitch our managers into thinking he’s more effective than he is.

Bamford really has a way of letting us down when it comes to the crunch - got history. Needs dropping.

Thought Gray had an awful first 10 minutes. First could have played an easy ball to Summerville but scuffed his shot instead and then could have put the ball out for the corner for their first goal but let him get it to cross. Poor.

Maybe this is a separate thread but, I can't remember

Our upturn in form in January coincided with the return of Bamford and I was as surprised as anyone, he was good value for a while but lately looks a mile off the pace. We are still too slow moving the ball around side to side just eating up time we don't have, but we looked a lot more potent when Piroe, Joseph and Gnonto came on.

A missed opportunity, yes, but that was probably our toughest remaining fixture. Meanwhile, the Tractor boys have got Coventry, Hull, Watford and Boro on the menu. If they get second place, they deserve to go up.

Coventry didn’t reach the FA Cup semi-final without knowing how to out in a top performance against top sides.

Hopefully this is the long expected glitch out of the way and we can somehow take advantage of an Ipswich slip-up over the next two games.

Agree! Forest and Everton getting points deductions, and Leicester getting away with it will rob Ipswich or us of an automatic spot.

Should do the decent thing and give them -6 pts now. They're playing with illegal players ff5.

Leicester know they are not going to get any points deducted this season and have now found their form again and can play worry free. It is just wrong that they are treated differently from Everton and Forest and are not being punished now. They are playing with players they shouldn’t have been able to buy in January who have given them an advantage. We will probably be the team who pays the price.
